वरु॑णं वो रि॒शाद॑समृ॒चा मि॒त्रं ह॑वामहे | परि॑ व्र॒जेव॑ बा॒ह्वोर्ज॑ग॒न्वांसा॒ स्व॑र्णरम् ||

We invoke you, Mitra and Varuṇa, the destroyers of enemies, with our hymns. You embrace us like loving arms, bringing light.

Stretch out your arms to us with favor, O Mitra and Varuṇa, as we praise you. Your friendly support is always felt everywhere.

May I now reach a safe refuge; may my steps follow the path of Mitra. Those who follow this dear, harmless friend are protected.

As the dawn breaks in the divine realm of shining cows, O Heroes, come swiftly with your active feet, like elephants, to the pressed Soma juice, bringing your radiance and support.
