Come forth with the pressing stones, O Soma-Lord, Indra! Drink the Soma! O powerful, O Indra, strongest of slayers of Vritra, come with the strong ones!

When, O Surya, the Asura's descendant Svarbhanu pierced you with darkness, all beings looked as if bewildered, not knowing where they stood.

When, O Indra, Svarbhanu's magic, spreading beneath the sky, obstructed the sun, Atri discovered the sun hidden by the fourth, non-functioning knowledge (or ritual).
This verse describes Indra's intervention to remove the darkness caused by Svarbhanu, which had obscured the sun. The poet states that Indra, with his power and perhaps with the aid of divine knowledge or ritual ('bráhmaṇā'), struck down Svarbhanu's magic ('māyā́ḥ'). Let not this enemy, filled with wrath and fear, swallow me! For I am yours, O Atri. You are Mitra, the possessor of true bounty; may you and King Varuna help me!
The devotee (Atri) expresses his dependence on Indra and Varuna for protection. He prays that he not be swallowed by an enemy ('drugdháḥ') driven by anger ('irasyā́') or fear ('bhiyásā'). The Atri clan found the sun, whom the Asura Svarbhanu had pierced with darkness. Others could not find him.
This concluding stanza emphasizes the unique achievement of the Atri family. It reiterates that Svarbhanu had indeed obscured the sun with darkness. However, unlike others who were unable to help, the Atri seers ('átrayaḥ') succeeded in finding the sun again and restoring its light, highlighting their exceptional power and knowledge.
