Stanza 5.38.1

उ॒रोष्ट॑ इन्द्र॒ राध॑सो वि॒भ्वी रा॒तिः श॑तक्रतो | अधा॑ नो विश्वचर्षणे द्यु॒म्ना सु॑क्षत्र मंहय ||

uróṣ ṭa indra rā́dhaso vibhvī́ rātíḥ śatakrato ádhā no viśvacarṣaṇe dyumnā́ sukṣatra maṁhaya

Indra, Lord of a hundred powers, your immense gifts and generous bounty spread widely. O all-seeing, good ruler, bestow upon us magnificent wealth.

Stanza 5.38.2

यदी॑मिन्द्र श्र॒वाय्य॒मिषं॑ शविष्ठ दधि॒षे | प॒प्र॒थे दी॑र्घ॒श्रुत्त॑मं॒ हिर॑ण्यवर्ण दु॒ष्टर॑म् ||

yád īm indra śravā́yyam íṣaṁ śaviṣṭha dadhiṣé paprathé dīrghaśrúttamaṁ híraṇyavarṇa duṣṭáram

O mightiest Indra, what sustenance that is worthy of renown do you hold? It is widely famed, invincible, and golden-hued; may it be yours to give.

Stanza 5.38.3

शुष्मा॑सो॒ ये ते॑ अद्रिवो मे॒हना॑ केत॒सापः॑ | उ॒भा दे॒वाव॒भिष्ट॑ये दि॒वश्च॒ ग्मश्च॑ राजथः ||

śúṣmāso yé te adrivo mehánā ketasā́paḥ ubhā́ devā́v abhíṣṭaye diváś ca gmáś ca rājathaḥ

O stone-thrower, the powers that are yours and those who are like minded, both you and the other gods, rule with greatness for protection, over the heaven and the earth.

Stanza 5.38.4

उ॒तो नो॑ अ॒स्य कस्य॑ चि॒द्दक्ष॑स्य॒ तव॑ वृत्रहन् | अ॒स्मभ्यं॑ नृ॒म्णमा भ॑रा॒स्मभ्यं॑ नृमणस्यसे ||

utó no asyá kásya cid dákṣasya táva vr̥trahan asmábhyaṁ nr̥mṇám ā́ bharāsmábhyaṁ nr̥maṇasyase

And from any of your power, O slayer of Vritra, bring us heroic strength. You have a protective regard for us, O hero.

Stanza 5.38.5

नू त॑ आ॒भिर॒भिष्टि॑भि॒स्तव॒ शर्म॑ञ्छतक्रतो | इन्द्र॒ स्याम॑ सुगो॒पाः शूर॒ स्याम॑ सुगो॒पाः ||

nū́ ta ābhír abhíṣṭibhis táva śármañ chatakrato índra syā́ma sugopā́ḥ śū́ra syā́ma sugopā́ḥ

O Indra, Lord of a hundred powers, may we now be well-guarded in your protection, with these aids of yours. O hero, may we be well-guarded.
