Stanza 5.27.1

ánasvantā sátpatir māmahe me gā́vā cétiṣṭho ásuro maghónaḥ traivr̥ṣṇó agne daśábhiḥ sahásrair vaíśvānara tryàruṇaś ciketa

The generous lord has granted me two oxen along with a wagon. Agni Vaiśvānara, you are the most brilliant among the givers! Tryaruna, son of Trivr̥iṣṇa, has distinguished himself with ten thousand (gifts).

Stanza 5.27.2

yó me śatā́ ca viṁśatíṁ ca gónāṁ hárī ca yuktā́ sudhúrā dádāti vaíśvānara súṣṭuto vāvr̥dhānó 'gne yácha tryàruṇāya śárma

O Agni Vaiśvānara, who are highly praised and growing strong, grant protection to Tryaruna! He who gives me one hundred and twenty cows, and two swift horses, well-yoked and ready.

Stanza 5.27.3

evā́ te agne sumatíṁ cakānó náviṣṭhāya navamáṁ trasádasyuḥ yó me gíras tuvijātásya pūrvī́r yukténābhí tryàruṇo gr̥ṇā́ti

Thus, O Agni, desiring your favor, Trasadasyu offers you his ninth song, for you are the youngest (of gods). Tryaruna, who is of mighty birth, responds to my many hymns with a yoked chariot.

Stanza 5.27.4

yó ma íti pravócaty áśvamedhāya sūráye dádad r̥cā́ saníṁ yaté dádan medhā́m r̥tāyaté

He who would speak of me to the generous Prince Aśvamedha: may he grant gain to one who seeks it with his verse, and bestow wisdom upon him who lives by the cosmic order.

Stanza 5.27.5

yásya mā paruṣā́ḥ śatám uddharṣáyanty ukṣáṇaḥ áśvamedhasya dā́nāḥ sómā iva tryāā̀śiraḥ

A hundred speckled bulls, the gifts of Aśvamedha, delight me greatly, just as Soma juices mixed thrice are exhilarating.

Stanza 5.27.6

índrāgnī śatadā́vny áśvamedhe suvī́ryam kṣatráṁ dhārayatam br̥hád diví sū́ryam ivājáram

O Indra and Agni, grant to Aśvamedha, the giver of a hundred gifts, heroic strength and great royal power, like the eternal Sun in the sky.
