Stanza 5.19.1

abhy àvasthā́ḥ prá jāyante prá vavrér vavríś ciketa upásthe mātúr ví caṣṭe

New conditions arise and unfold; from the covering, the covered one becomes visible. Within the mother's embrace, it perceives.

Stanza 5.19.2

juhuré ví citáyantó 'nimiṣaṁ nr̥mṇám pānti ā́ dr̥ḷhā́m púraṁ viviśuḥ

They sacrificed with discernment; with unwinking eyes, they protect the powerful strength. They entered into the strong fort.

Stanza 5.19.3

ā́ śvaitreyásya jantávo dyumád vardhanta kr̥ṣṭáyaḥ niṣkágrīvo br̥háduktha enā́ mádhvā ná vājayúḥ

The people of Svaitreya, his clans, have gloriously grown strong. Br̥haduktha, with a gold ornament on his neck, is eager for the prize, as if through this sweet drink.

Stanza 5.19.4

priyáṁ dugdháṁ ná kā́myam ájāmi jāmyóḥ sácā gharmó ná vā́jajaṭharó 'dabdhaḥ śáśvato dábhaḥ

Like the cherished, desirable milk, unseparated from the twin sisters. Like the Soma-vessel (gharma) with wealth in its belly—unfailing, conquering all.

Stanza 5.19.5

krī́ḷan no raśma ā́ bhuvaḥ sám bhásmanā vāyúnā vévidānaḥ tā́ asya san dhr̥ṣájo ná tigmā́ḥ súsaṁśitā vakṣyò vakṣaṇesthā́ḥ

Sporting, O ray of light, come to us, joined with the wind and the ash. May these sharp and well-sharpened things of his be formidable, like arrows on the breast.
