    Stanza 5.13.1

    अर्च॑न्तस्त्वा हवाम॒हेऽर्च॑न्तः॒ समि॑धीमहि | अग्ने॒ अर्च॑न्त ऊ॒तये॑ ||

    árcantas tvā havāmahé 'rcantaḥ sám idhīmahi ágne árcanta ūtáye

    Praising you, Agni, we call to you; praising you, we kindle you. Praising you, we call for your help.

    Stanza 5.13.2

    अ॒ग्नेः स्तोमं॑ मनामहे सि॒ध्रम॒द्य दि॑वि॒स्पृशः॑ | दे॒वस्य॑ द्रविण॒स्यवः॑ ||

    agné stómam manāmahe sidhrám adyá divispŕ̥śaḥ devásya draviṇasyávaḥ

    Desiring wealth, we meditate today on Agni's effective praise, the praise of the heaven-touching god.

    Stanza 5.13.3

    अ॒ग्निर्जु॑षत नो॒ गिरो॒ होता॒ यो मानु॑षे॒ष्वा | स य॑क्ष॒द्दैव्यं॒ जन॑म् ||

    agnír juṣata no gíro hótā yó mā́nuṣeṣv ā́ sá yakṣad daívyaṁ jánam

    May Agni, the priest among humans, favor our hymns. May he, who is the Hotri, sacrifice to the divine assembly.

    Stanza 5.13.4

    त्वम॑ग्ने स॒प्रथा॑ असि॒ जुष्टो॒ होता॒ वरे॑ण्यः | त्वया॑ य॒ज्ञं वि त॑न्वते ||

    tvám agne sapráthā asi júṣṭo hótā váreṇyaḥ tváyā yajñáṁ ví tanvate

    You, O Agni, are spread out widely, the beloved and desirable priest. Through you, they extend the sacrifice.

    Stanza 5.13.5

    त्वाम॑ग्ने वाज॒सात॑मं॒ विप्रा॑ वर्धन्ति॒ सुष्टु॑तम् | स नो॑ रास्व सु॒वीर्य॑म् ||

    tvā́m agne vājasā́tamaṁ víprā vardhanti súṣṭutam sá no rāsva suvī́ryam

    The wise ones nourish you, O Agni, the greatest bestower of strength, highly praised. Grant us abundant heroic strength.

    Stanza 5.13.6

    अग्ने॑ ने॒मिर॒राँ इ॑व दे॒वाँस्त्वं प॑रि॒भूर॑सि | आ राध॑श्चि॒त्रमृ॑ञ्जसे ||

    ágne nemír arā́m̐ iva devā́ṁs tvám paribhū́r asi ā́ rā́dhaś citrám r̥ñjase

    O Agni, you encompass the gods like the felly of a wheel does the spokes. You strive for brilliant wealth.
