Stanza 4.29.1

आ नः॑ स्तु॒त उप॒ वाजे॑भिरू॒ती इन्द्र॑ या॒हि हरि॑भिर्मन्दसा॒नः | ति॒रश्चि॑द॒र्यः सव॑ना पु॒रूण्या॑ङ्गू॒षेभि॑र्गृणा॒नः स॒त्यरा॑धाः ||

ā́ na stutá úpa vā́jebhir ūtī́ índra yāhí háribhir mandasānáḥ tiráś cid aryáḥ sávanā purū́ṇy āṅgūṣébhir gr̥ṇānáḥ satyárādhāḥ

O Indra, praised one, come to us with your powers and aid, arriving with your tawny horses, full of joy. Even surpassing the many offerings of the foe, you are praised by our songs, O giver of true rewards.

Stanza 4.29.2

आ हि ष्मा॒ याति॒ नर्य॑श्चिकि॒त्वान्हू॒यमा॑नः सो॒तृभि॒रुप॑ य॒ज्ञम् | स्वश्वो॒ यो अभी॑रु॒र्मन्य॑मानः सुष्वा॒णेभि॒र्मद॑ति॒ सं ह॑ वी॒रैः ||

ā́ hí ṣmā yā́ti náryaś cikitvā́n hūyámānaḥ sotŕ̥bhir úpa yajñám sváśvo yó ábhīrur mányamānaḥ suṣvāṇébhir mádati sáṁ ha vīraíḥ

He who is called by the Soma-pressers approaches, the wise Indra, indeed, with his good horses. He is fearless, understanding, and rejoices with the heroes who have prepared the Soma.

Stanza 4.29.3

श्रा॒वयेद॑स्य॒ कर्णा॑ वाज॒यध्यै॒ जुष्टा॒मनु॒ प्र दिशं॑ मन्द॒यध्यै॑ | उ॒द्वा॒वृ॒षा॒णो राध॑से॒ तुवि॑ष्मा॒न्कर॑न्न॒ इन्द्रः॑ सुती॒र्थाभ॑यं च ||

śrāváyéd asya kárṇā vājayádhyai júṣṭām ánu prá díśam mandayádhyai udvāvr̥ṣāṇó rā́dhase túviṣmān káran na índraḥ sutīrthā́bhayaṁ ca

Make your ears hear, so that you may gain strength and be pleased. Mighty Indra, having risen with power, bestow upon us good passages and safety for our benefit.

Stanza 4.29.4

अच्छा॒ यो गन्ता॒ नाध॑मानमू॒ती इ॒त्था विप्रं॒ हव॑मानं गृ॒णन्त॑म् | उप॒ त्मनि॒ दधा॑नो धु॒र्या॒३॒॑शून्त्स॒हस्रा॑णि श॒तानि॒ वज्र॑बाहुः ||

áchā yó gántā nā́dhamānam ūtī́ itthā́ vípraṁ hávamānaṁ gr̥ṇántam úpa tmáni dádhāno dhury āā̀śū́n sahásrāṇi śatā́ni vájrabāhuḥ

He who comes to the one in need, with aid, and to the one singing hymns who calls him. He harnesses the swift horses and possesses hundreds and thousands, O wielder of the thunderbolt.

Stanza 4.29.5

त्वोता॑सो मघवन्निन्द्र॒ विप्रा॑ व॒यं ते॑ स्याम सू॒रयो॑ गृ॒णन्तः॑ | भे॒जा॒नासो॑ बृ॒हद्दि॑वस्य रा॒य आ॑का॒य्य॑स्य दा॒वने॑ पुरु॒क्षोः ||

tvótāso maghavann indra víprā vayáṁ te syāma sūráyo gr̥ṇántaḥ bhejānā́so br̥háddivasya rāyá ākāyyàsya dāváne purukṣóḥ

O Indra, Maghavan, we, protected by you, may we be your own, singers and leaders, sharing in the riches of Brihaddiva and Akāyya, for the giving of Purukṣu.
