आ या॒त्विन्द्रोऽव॑स॒ उप॑ न इ॒ह स्तु॒तः स॑ध॒माद॑स्तु॒ शूरः॑ | वा॒वृ॒धा॒नस्तवि॑षी॒र्यस्य॑ पू॒र्वीर्द्यौर्न क्ष॒त्रम॒भिभू॑ति॒ पुष्या॑त् ||
ā́ yātv índró 'vasa úpa na ihá stutáḥ sadhamā́d astu śū́raḥ vāvr̥dhānás táviṣīr yásya pūrvī́r dyaúr ná kṣatrám abhíbhūti púṣyāt
May Indra come to us for protection; may the praised hero be here with us, sharing our joy. May he, whose powers are vast and growing, nurture his dominion, just as the sky nurtures its expanse.
This verse is a fervent invocation to Indra, the king of gods, asking him to descend with his divine army to protect the supplicants. The poet wishes Indra to be present with them, sharing their joy and feasting, and to grow in power, upholding his supreme dominion like the heavens themselves.

Here, may you celebrate his great heroic deeds, O glorious one, giver of much, who nourishes men! His will is like a sovereign in assembly; he has conquered the peoples, the triumphant one.

We shall praise that Indra, the Lord of vast riches, in our assemblies. He who conquers with Vayu in contests for cattle, leads us onward to greater prosperity.

Indra is indeed the truthful Lord of wealth. He gave freedom to man by slaying Vritra. O much-praised one, help us with your power to riches; may I be a sharer of your divine favor.
