Stanza 4.11.1
भ॒द्रं ते॑ अग्ने सहसि॒न्ननी॑कमुपा॒क आ रो॑चते॒ सूर्य॑स्य | रुश॑द्दृ॒शे द॑दृशे नक्त॒या चि॒दरू॑क्षितं दृ॒श आ रू॒पे अन्न॑म् ||
bhadráṁ te agne sahasinn ánīkam upāká ā́ rocate sū́ryasya rúśad dr̥śé dadr̥śe naktayā́ cid árūkṣitaṁ dr̥śá ā́ rūpé ánnam
Your auspicious and powerful form, O Agni, shines brightly near the sun. Brilliant to behold, it is seen even in the night. Beautiful in its appearance, it is truly food (for the gods).

ví ṣāhy agne gr̥ṇaté manīṣā́ṁ kháṁ vépasā tuvijāta stávānaḥ víśvebhir yád vāvánaḥ śukra devaís tán no rāsva sumaho bhū́ri mánma
O Agni, reveal profound wisdom for the one who praises you. When you, O strong-born one, are praised with fervor, reveal the path (to understanding). Grant us, O greatly magnificent one, abundant praise that you, O brilliant one, hold dear with all the gods.

From you, O Agni, creative wisdom arises; from you come profound thoughts; from you beneficial hymns are generated and accomplished. From you comes wealth adorned with heroic qualities, for the mindful mortal who offers oblations.

Keep far from us, O Agni, misfortune and distress. Keep far from us all ill-will. You protect them. When evening comes, O benevolent son of strength, Agni, you bring welfare to him whom you, the god, support with prosperity.
