Stanza 4.11.1

भ॒द्रं ते॑ अग्ने सहसि॒न्ननी॑कमुपा॒क आ रो॑चते॒ सूर्य॑स्य | रुश॑द्दृ॒शे द॑दृशे नक्त॒या चि॒दरू॑क्षितं दृ॒श आ रू॒पे अन्न॑म् ||

bhadráṁ te agne sahasinn ánīkam upāká ā́ rocate sū́ryasya rúśad dr̥śé dadr̥śe naktayā́ cid árūkṣitaṁ dr̥śá ā́ rūpé ánnam

Your auspicious and powerful form, O Agni, shines brightly near the sun. Brilliant to behold, it is seen even in the night. Beautiful in its appearance, it is truly food (for the gods).

Stanza 4.11.2

वि षा॑ह्यग्ने गृण॒ते म॑नी॒षां खं वेप॑सा तुविजात॒ स्तवा॑नः | विश्वे॑भि॒र्यद्वा॒वनः॑ शुक्र दे॒वैस्तन्नो॑ रास्व सुमहो॒ भूरि॒ मन्म॑ ||

ví ṣāhy agne gr̥ṇaté manīṣā́ṁ kháṁ vépasā tuvijāta stávānaḥ víśvebhir yád vāvánaḥ śukra devaís tán no rāsva sumaho bhū́ri mánma

O Agni, reveal profound wisdom for the one who praises you. When you, O strong-born one, are praised with fervor, reveal the path (to understanding). Grant us, O greatly magnificent one, abundant praise that you, O brilliant one, hold dear with all the gods.

Stanza 4.11.3

त्वद॑ग्ने॒ काव्या॒ त्वन्म॑नी॒षास्त्वदु॒क्था जा॑यन्ते॒ राध्या॑नि | त्वदे॑ति॒ द्रवि॑णं वी॒रपे॑शा इ॒त्थाधि॑ये दा॒शुषे॒ मर्त्या॑य ||

tvád agne kā́vyā tván manīṣā́s tvád ukthā́ jāyante rā́dhyāni tvád eti dráviṇaṁ vīrápeśā itthā́dhiye dāśúṣe mártyāya

From you, O Agni, creative wisdom arises; from you come profound thoughts; from you beneficial hymns are generated and accomplished. From you comes wealth adorned with heroic qualities, for the mindful mortal who offers oblations.

Stanza 4.11.4

त्वद्वा॒जी वा॑जम्भ॒रो विहा॑या अभिष्टि॒कृज्जा॑यते स॒त्यशु॑ष्मः | त्वद्र॒यिर्दे॒वजू॑तो मयो॒भुस्त्वदा॒शुर्जू॑जु॒वाँ अ॑ग्ने॒ अर्वा॑ ||

tvád vājī́ vājambharó víhāyā abhiṣṭikŕ̥j jāyate satyáśuṣmaḥ tvád rayír devájūto mayobhús tvád āśúr jūjuvā́m̐ agne árvā

From you, O Agni, comes the powerful one who brings strength and victory, the helper, the one with true might. From you comes wealth, divinely guided, bringing joy. From you, O Agni, comes the swiftly moving, energetic divine force.

Stanza 4.11.5

त्वाम॑ग्ने प्रथ॒मं दे॑व॒यन्तो॑ दे॒वं मर्ता॑ अमृत म॒न्द्रजि॑ह्वम् | द्वे॒षो॒युत॒मा वि॑वासन्ति धी॒भिर्दमू॑नसं गृ॒हप॑ति॒ममू॑रम् ||

tvā́m agne prathamáṁ devayánto devám mártā amr̥ta mandrájihvam dveṣoyútam ā́ vivāsanti dhībhír dámūnasaṁ gr̥hápatim ámūram

O immortal Agni, you who have a pleasant voice, mortals seeking the divine first worship you, the god with the agreeable tongue, who removes hatred. They serve you with their thoughts, O friend of the home, master of the household, the infallible one.

Stanza 4.11.6

आ॒रे अ॒स्मदम॑तिमा॒रे अंह॑ आ॒रे विश्वां॑ दुर्म॒तिं यन्नि॒पासि॑ | दो॒षा शि॒वः स॑हसः सूनो अग्ने॒ यं दे॒व आ चि॒त्सच॑से स्व॒स्ति ||

āré asmád ámatim āré áṁha āré víśvāṁ durmatíṁ yán nipā́si doṣā́ śiváḥ sahasaḥ sūno agne yáṁ devá ā́ cit sácase svastí

Keep far from us, O Agni, misfortune and distress. Keep far from us all ill-will. You protect them. When evening comes, O benevolent son of strength, Agni, you bring welfare to him whom you, the god, support with prosperity.
