अग्ने॒ तम॒द्याश्वं॒ न स्तोमैः॒ क्रतुं॒ न भ॒द्रं हृ॑दि॒स्पृश॑म् | ऋ॒ध्यामा॑ त॒ ओहैः॑ ||

O Agni, today, may we, with our hymns of praise and our offerings, approach that which is dear to you, like a swift horse, and that which touches the heart like auspicious wisdom.

For indeed, O Agni, you have become the leader (charioteer) of auspicious wisdom, of true ability, and of the great cosmic order.

Indeed, O righteous Agni, you drive away any committed harm or hatred from the worshipping mortal.
The stanza reassures the devotee that Agni has the power to dispel any wrongdoings or negative actions. Even if harm or hatred has been done, Agni can remove it from the person who worships him correctly and maintains the cosmic order. This highlights Agni's role as a purifier and protector against negative consequences.

May our friendships and brotherhoods, O Agni, be blessed with you among the gods. This connection is our central bond in this sacred space.
The hymn concludes with a prayer for blessed relationships. The worshippers ask Agni to ensure their friendships and kinship bonds are auspicious, both among themselves and with the divine beings (gods). They identify their connection with Agni as central and vital, like a 'navel' in their sacred space.
