Stanza 3.7.1

प्र य आ॒रुः शि॑तिपृ॒ष्ठस्य॑ धा॒सेरा मा॒तरा॑ विविशुः स॒प्त वाणीः॑ | प॒रि॒क्षिता॑ पि॒तरा॒ सं च॑रेते॒ प्र स॑र्स्राते दी॒र्घमायुः॑ प्र॒यक्षे॑ ||

prá yá ārúḥ śitipr̥ṣṭhásya dhāsér ā́ mātárā viviśuḥ saptá vā́ṇīḥ parikṣítā pitárā sáṁ carete prá sarsrāte dīrghám ā́yuḥ prayákṣe

The seven sounds that emerged from the divine drink of the white-backed one have entered the pair of mothers. These encompassing parents come together, moving forward to grant us a long life.

Stanza 3.7.2

दि॒वक्ष॑सो धे॒नवो॒ वृष्णो॒ अश्वा॑ दे॒वीरा त॑स्थौ॒ मधु॑म॒द्वह॑न्तीः | ऋ॒तस्य॑ त्वा॒ सद॑सि क्षेम॒यन्तं॒ पर्येका॑ चरति वर्त॒निं गौः ||

divákṣaso dhenávo vŕ̥ṣṇo áśvā devī́r ā́ tasthau mádhumad váhantīḥ r̥tásya tvā sádasi kṣemayántam páry ékā carati vartaníṁ gaúḥ

The heavenly milch-cows are the mares of the powerful one. They have mounted goddesses who carry sweetness. You, resting safely in the seat of order, are circled by a single cow, moving along your path.

Stanza 3.7.3

आ सी॑मरोहत्सु॒यमा॒ भव॑न्तीः॒ पति॑श्चिकि॒त्वान्र॑यि॒विद्र॑यी॒णाम् | प्र नील॑पृष्ठो अत॒सस्य॑ धा॒सेस्ता अ॑वासयत्पुरु॒धप्र॑तीकः ||

ā́ sīm arohat suyámā bhávantīḥ pátiś cikitvā́n rayivíd rayīṇā́m prá nī́lapr̥ṣṭho atasásya dhāsés tā́ avāsayat purudhápratīkaḥ

He mounted the easily manageable ones, the wise Lord, finder of riches. The one with the dark blue back, with many forms, released them from the 'drink' of the brushwood.

Stanza 3.7.4

महि॑ त्वा॒ष्ट्रमू॒र्जय॑न्तीरजु॒र्यं स्त॑भू॒यमा॑नं व॒हतो॑ वहन्ति | व्यङ्गे॑भिर्दिद्युता॒नः स॒धस्थ॒ एका॑मिव॒ रोद॑सी॒ आ वि॑वेश ||

máhi tvāṣṭrám ūrjáyantīr ajuryáṁ stabhūyámānaṁ vaháto vahanti vy áṅgebhir didyutānáḥ sadhástha ékām iva ródasī ā́ viveśa

The strength-giving streams carry the eternal one, who is being supported. Radiant in his abode with all his members, he has entered the two worlds (heaven and earth) as if they were one.

Stanza 3.7.5

जा॒नन्ति॒ वृष्णो॑ अरु॒षस्य॒ शेव॑मु॒त ब्र॒ध्नस्य॒ शास॑ने रणन्ति | दि॒वो॒रुचः॑ सु॒रुचो॒ रोच॑माना॒ इळा॒ येषां॒ गण्या॒ माहि॑ना॒ गीः ||

jānánti vŕ̥ṣṇo aruṣásya śévam utá bradhnásya śā́sane raṇanti divorúcaḥ surúco rócamānā íḷā yéṣāṁ gáṇyā mā́hinā gī́ḥ

They know the favor of the red bull and rejoice in the command of the bright one. Those shining from heaven, with fair radiance, whose mighty praise is honored like Ila, follow the order of Rta.

Stanza 3.7.6

उ॒तो पि॒तृभ्यां॑ प्र॒विदानु॒ घोषं॑ म॒हो म॒हद्भ्या॑मनयन्त शू॒षम् | उ॒क्षा ह॒ यत्र॒ परि॒ धान॑म॒क्तोरनु॒ स्वं धाम॑ जरि॒तुर्व॒वक्ष॑ ||

utó pitŕ̥bhyām pravídā́nu ghóṣam mahó mahádbhyām anayanta śūṣám ukṣā́ ha yátra pári dhā́nam aktór ánu sváṁ dhā́ma jaritúr vavákṣa

And following the sound, they brought great strength to the great parents. When the bull, after the night, grew strong according to the singer's own law, he manifested.

Stanza 3.7.7

अ॒ध्व॒र्युभिः॑ प॒ञ्चभिः॑ स॒प्त विप्राः॑ प्रि॒यं र॑क्षन्ते॒ निहि॑तं प॒दं वेः | प्राञ्चो॑ मदन्त्यु॒क्षणो॑ अजु॒र्या दे॒वा दे॒वाना॒मनु॒ हि व्र॒ता गुः ||

adhvaryúbhiḥ pañcábhiḥ saptá víprāḥ priyáṁ rakṣante níhitam padáṁ véḥ prā́ñco madanty ukṣáṇo ajuryā́ devā́ devā́nām ánu hí vratā́ gúḥ

With five ritualists, the seven wise ones protect the beloved, established place of the bird. The bulls, who never age, rejoice as they follow the ways of the gods, just like gods themselves.

Stanza 3.7.8

दैव्या॒ होता॑रा प्रथ॒मा न्यृ॑ञ्जे स॒प्त पृ॒क्षासः॑ स्व॒धया॑ मदन्ति | ऋ॒तं शंस॑न्त ऋ॒तमित्त आ॑हु॒रनु॑ व्र॒तं व्र॑त॒पा दीध्या॑नाः ||

daívyā hótārā prathamā́ ny r̥̀ñje saptá pr̥kṣā́saḥ svadháyā madanti r̥táṁ śáṁsanta r̥tám ít tá āhur ánu vratáṁ vratapā́ dī́dhyānāḥ

I invoke the first two divine Invokers; the seven powers rejoice with their own sustenance. Proclaiming the truth, they call it the eternal Rta; they are the guardians of order, contemplating it.

Stanza 3.7.9

वृ॒षा॒यन्ते॑ म॒हे अत्या॑य पू॒र्वीर्वृष्णे॑ चि॒त्राय॑ र॒श्मयः॑ सुया॒माः | देव॑ होतर्म॒न्द्रत॑रश्चिकि॒त्वान्म॒हो दे॒वान्रोद॑सी॒ एह व॑क्षि ||

vr̥ṣāyánte mahé átyāya pūrvī́r vŕ̥ṣṇe citrā́ya raśmáyaḥ suyāmā́ḥ déva hotar mandrátaraś cikitvā́n mahó devā́n ródasī éhá vakṣi

They desire the mighty stallion; the reins easily guide the varied one. O divine, wise, and most joyful Hotri, bring here the great gods, heaven, and earth!

Stanza 3.7.10

पृ॒क्षप्र॑यजो द्रविणः सु॒वाचः॑ सुके॒तव॑ उ॒षसो॑ रे॒वदू॑षुः | उ॒तो चि॑दग्ने महि॒ना पृ॑थि॒व्याः कृ॒तं चि॒देनः॒ सं म॒हे द॑शस्य ||

pr̥kṣáprayajo draviṇaḥ suvā́caḥ suketáva uṣáso revád ūṣuḥ utó cid agne mahinā́ pr̥thivyā́ḥ kr̥táṁ cid énaḥ sám mahé daśasya

O wealthy Agni, who speaks well, the dawns have shone with wealth, possessing good knowledge. And by the earth's greatness, O Agni, please forgive even committed sins, so that we may become great.

Stanza 3.7.11

इळा॑मग्ने पुरु॒दंसं॑ स॒निं गोः श॑श्वत्त॒मं हव॑मानाय साध | स्यान्नः॑ सू॒नुस्तन॑यो वि॒जावाग्ने॒ सा ते॑ सुम॒तिर्भू॑त्व॒स्मे ||

íḷām agne purudáṁsaṁ saníṁ góḥ śaśvattamáṁ hávamānāya sādha syā́n naḥ sūnús tánayo vijā́vā́gne sā́ te sumatír bhūtv asmé

O Agni, grant sustenance, wealth in cattle, and many wonders to me, your caller. May we have a son and descendant, O Agni; may your good favor be upon us.
