Stanza 3.56.1

न ता मि॑नन्ति मा॒यिनो॒ न धीरा॑ व्र॒ता दे॒वानां॑ प्रथ॒मा ध्रु॒वाणि॑ | न रोद॑सी अ॒द्रुहा॑ वे॒द्याभि॒र्न पर्व॑ता नि॒नमे॑ तस्थि॒वांसः॑ ||

ná tā́ minanti māyíno ná dhī́rā vratā́ devā́nām prathamā́ dhruvā́ṇi ná ródasī adrúhā vedyā́bhir ná párvatā nináme tasthivā́ṁsaḥ

Neither cunning magicians nor wise humans can change the gods' first, steadfast decrees. The unmalicious earth and sky, and the unmoving mountains, can't be moved by human knowledge.

Stanza 3.56.2

षड्भा॒राँ एको॒ अच॑रन्बिभर्त्यृ॒तं वर्षि॑ष्ठ॒मुप॒ गाव॒ आगुः॑ | ति॒स्रो म॒हीरुप॑रास्तस्थु॒रत्या॒ गुहा॒ द्वे निहि॑ते॒ दर्श्येका॑ ||

ṣáḍ bhārā́m̐ éko ácaran bibharty r̥táṁ várṣiṣṭham úpa gā́va ā́guḥ tisró mahī́r úparās tasthur átyā gúhā dvé níhite dárśy ékā

One being, not moving, supports six burdens. The divine truths/lights approach the highest truth. Three mighty, fast-moving forces stand nearby; two are hidden, and one is seen.

Stanza 3.56.3

त्रि॒पा॒ज॒स्यो वृ॑ष॒भो वि॒श्वरू॑प उ॒त त्र्यु॒धा पु॑रु॒ध प्र॒जावा॑न् | त्र्य॒नी॒कः प॑त्यते॒ माहि॑नावा॒न्त्स रे॑तो॒धा वृ॑ष॒भः शश्व॑तीनाम् ||

tripājasyó vr̥ṣabhó viśvárūpa utá tryudhā́ purudhá prajā́vān tryanīkáḥ patyate mā́hināvān sá retodhā́ vr̥ṣabháḥ śáśvatīnām

The strong, all-formed Bull, with three aspects, rules everywhere, possessing many offspring. With a triple-faced power, he is the source of semen for the eternal beings.

Stanza 3.56.4

अ॒भीक॑ आसां पद॒वीर॑बोध्यादि॒त्याना॑मह्वे॒ चारु॒ नाम॑ | आप॑श्चिदस्मा अरमन्त दे॒वीः पृथ॒ग्व्रज॑न्तीः॒ परि॑ षीमवृञ्जन् ||

abhī́ka āsām padavī́r abodhy ādityā́nām ahve cā́ru nā́ma ā́paś cid asmā aramanta devī́ḥ pŕ̥thag vrájantīḥ pári ṣīm avr̥ñjan

Near them, his path became known. I called the dear name of the Adityas. The divine waters, though moving separately, stopped for him and then surrounded him.

Stanza 3.56.5

त्री ष॒धस्था॑ सिन्धव॒स्त्रिः क॑वी॒नामु॒त त्रि॑मा॒ता वि॒दथे॑षु स॒म्राट् | ऋ॒ताव॑री॒र्योष॑णास्ति॒स्रो अप्या॒स्त्रिरा दि॒वो वि॒दथे॒ पत्य॑मानाः ||

trī́ ṣadhásthā sindhavas tríḥ kavīnā́m utá trimātā́ vidátheṣu samrā́ṭ r̥tā́varīr yóṣaṇās tisró ápyās trír ā́ divó vidáthe pátyamānāḥ

O Streams, there are nine dwelling places for the wise. The one called 'Child of Three Mothers' rules assemblies. Three divine, flowing ladies of the waters, and three from the sky, govern in the assembly.

Stanza 3.56.6

त्रिरा दि॒वः स॑वित॒र्वार्या॑णि दि॒वेदि॑व॒ आ सु॑व॒ त्रिर्नो॒ अह्नः॑ | त्रि॒धातु॑ रा॒य आ सु॑वा॒ वसू॑नि॒ भग॑ त्रातर्धिषणे सा॒तये॑ धाः ||

trír ā́ diváḥ savitar vā́ryāṇi divé-diva ā́ suva trír no áhnaḥ tridhā́tu rāyá ā́ suvā vásūni bhága trātar dhiṣaṇe sātáye dhāḥ

Savitar, bring forth desirable things from the sky, three times daily. Also, Mitra, Varuna, and Dhiṣaṇā, grant us abundant wealth and fortune for success.

Stanza 3.56.7

त्रिरा दि॒वः स॑वि॒ता सो॑षवीति॒ राजा॑ना मि॒त्रावरु॑णा सुपा॒णी | आप॑श्चिदस्य॒ रोद॑सी चिदु॒र्वी रत्नं॑ भिक्षन्त सवि॒तुः स॒वाय॑ ||

trír ā́ diváḥ savitā́ soṣavīti rā́jānā mitrā́váruṇā supāṇī́ ā́paś cid asya ródasī cid urvī́ rátnam bhikṣanta savitúḥ savā́ya

Savitar, with well-handed kings Mitra and Varuna, pours forth abundance thrice from the sky. The divine waters, and the expansive Earth and Sky, also seek his treasure for his favor.

Stanza 3.56.8

त्रिरु॑त्त॒मा दू॒णशा॑ रोच॒नानि॒ त्रयो॑ राज॒न्त्यसु॑रस्य वी॒राः | ऋ॒तावा॑न इषि॒रा दू॒ळभा॑स॒स्त्रिरा दि॒वो वि॒दथे॑ सन्तु दे॒वाः ||

trír uttamā́ dūṇáśā rocanā́ni tráyo rājanty ásurasya vīrā́ḥ r̥tā́vāna iṣirā́ dūḷábhāsas trír ā́ divó vidáthe santu devā́ḥ

Three supreme, hard-to-reach realms of light exist. Three mighty heroes of the Asura rule as lords, truth-holders, vigorous and unconquerable. May three gods be present from the sky in the assembly.
