Stanza 3.46.1

यु॒ध्मस्य॑ ते वृष॒भस्य॑ स्व॒राज॑ उ॒ग्रस्य॒ यूनः॒ स्थवि॑रस्य॒ घृष्वेः॑ | अजू॑र्यतो व॒ज्रिणो॑ वी॒र्या॒३॒॑णीन्द्र॑ श्रु॒तस्य॑ मह॒तो म॒हानि॑ ||

yudhmásya te vr̥ṣabhásya svarā́ja ugrásya yū́na sthávirasya ghŕ̥ṣveḥ ájūryato vajríṇo vīryāā̀ṇī́ndra śrutásya maható mahā́ni

O Indra, your might is incredible! You are the bull, the warrior, the self-ruler, fierce and strong, forever young yet ancient. You never age, carry the thunderbolt, and your heroic acts are famous and grand. Truly, your greatness is immense!

Stanza 3.46.2

म॒हाँ अ॑सि महिष॒ वृष्ण्ये॑भिर्धन॒स्पृदु॑ग्र॒ सह॑मानो अ॒न्यान् | एको॒ विश्व॑स्य॒ भुव॑नस्य॒ राजा॒ स यो॒धया॑ च क्ष॒यया॑ च॒ जना॑न् ||

mahā́m̐ asi mahiṣa vŕ̥ṣṇyebhir dhanaspŕ̥d ugra sáhamāno anyā́n éko víśvasya bhúvanasya rā́jā sá yodháyā ca kṣayáyā ca jánān

You are truly great, O mighty Indra! With your strength, you seize riches and defeat others, ruling alone over all the worlds. We call upon you, fierce one, to guide people to fight and also to find peace.

Stanza 3.46.3

प्र मात्रा॑भी रिरिचे॒ रोच॑मानः॒ प्र दे॒वेभि॑र्वि॒श्वतो॒ अप्र॑तीतः | प्र म॒ज्मना॑ दि॒व इन्द्रः॑ पृथि॒व्याः प्रोरोर्म॒हो अ॒न्तरि॑क्षादृजी॒षी ||

prá mā́trābhī ririce rócamānaḥ prá devébhir viśváto ápratītaḥ prá majmánā divá índraḥ pr̥thivyā́ḥ prórór mahó antárikṣād r̥jīṣī́

Indra, you are brilliant and exceed all limits, even the gods can't match you! Your magnificence shines everywhere, and you are unstoppable. With your power, you fill the sky, earth, and the space between, oh energetic one!

Stanza 3.46.4

उ॒रुं ग॑भी॒रं ज॒नुषा॒भ्यु१॒॑ग्रं वि॒श्वव्य॑चसमव॒तं म॑ती॒नाम् | इन्द्रं॒ सोमा॑सः प्र॒दिवि॑ सु॒तासः॑ समु॒द्रं न स्र॒वत॒ आ वि॑शन्ति ||

urúṁ gabhīráṁ janúṣābhy ùgráṁ viśvávyacasam avatám matīnā́m índraṁ sómāsaḥ pradívi sutā́saḥ samudráṁ ná sraváta ā́ viśanti

Indra, you are vast, deep, and mighty by nature. You are the source of all thoughts and understand everything. Like rivers rushing into the ocean, the prepared Soma drinks, made since ancient days, flow into you, O Indra!

Stanza 3.46.5

यं सोम॑मिन्द्र पृथि॒वीद्यावा॒ गर्भं॒ न मा॒ता बि॑भृ॒तस्त्वा॒या | तं ते॑ हिन्वन्ति॒ तमु॑ ते मृजन्त्यध्व॒र्यवो॑ वृषभ॒ पात॒वा उ॑ ||

yáṁ sómam indra pr̥thivī́dyā́vā gárbhaṁ ná mātā́ bibhr̥tás tvāyā́ táṁ te hinvanti tám u te mr̥janty adhvaryávo vr̥ṣabha pā́tavā́ u

Indra, the Soma that Earth and Heaven hold for you, like a mother holds her child, is sent to you. The priests prepare and purify it, O strong hero, for you to drink!
