Stanza 3.45.1

आ म॒न्द्रैरि॑न्द्र॒ हरि॑भिर्या॒हि म॒यूर॑रोमभिः | मा त्वा॒ के चि॒न्नि य॑म॒न्विं न पा॒शिनोऽति॒ धन्वे॑व॒ ताँ इ॑हि ||

ā́ mandraír indra háribhir yāhí mayū́raromabhiḥ mā́ tvā ké cin ní yaman víṁ nā́ pāśínó 'ti dhánveva tā́m̐ ihi

Come, Indra, with your joyful, bay horses that have peacock-feathered tails! Don't let anyone stop you; charge ahead like an arrow shot from a bow, overcoming everyone!

Stanza 3.45.2

वृ॒त्र॒खा॒दो व॑लंरु॒जः पु॒रां द॒र्मो अ॒पाम॒जः | स्थाता॒ रथ॑स्य॒ हर्यो॑रभिस्व॒र इन्द्रो॑ दृ॒ळ्हा चि॑दारु॒जः ||

vr̥trakhādó valaṁrujáḥ purā́ṁ darmó apā́m ajáḥ sthā́tā ráthasya háryor abhisvará índro dr̥ḷhā́ cid ārujáḥ

Indra, the slayer of Vritra, the breaker of forts, and the liberator of waters! He stands at the ready with his chariot, and with the call of his bay horses, he shatters even the strongest obstacles.

Stanza 3.45.3

ग॒म्भी॒राँ उ॑द॒धीँरि॑व॒ क्रतुं॑ पुष्यसि॒ गा इ॑व | प्र सु॑गो॒पा यव॑सं धे॒नवो॑ यथा ह्र॒दं कु॒ल्या इ॑वाशत ||

gambhīrā́m̐ udadhī́m̐r iva krátum puṣyasi gā́ iva prá sugopā́ yávasaṁ dhenávo yathā hradáṁ kulyā́ ivāśata

You make your might grow, like deep waters, and nourish it, like cows are fed. Just as cows go to pasture with good guards, and streams flow into a lake, you provide abundance.

Stanza 3.45.4

आ न॒स्तुजं॑ र॒यिं भ॒रांशं॒ न प्र॑तिजान॒ते | वृ॒क्षं प॒क्वं फल॑म॒ङ्कीव॑ धूनु॒हीन्द्र॑ स॒म्पार॑णं॒ वसु॑ ||

ā́ nas tújaṁ rayím bharā́ṁśaṁ ná pratijānaté vr̥kṣám pakvám phálam aṅkī́va dhūnuhī́ndra sampā́raṇaṁ vásu

Bring us powerful wealth, our rightful share! Like someone shaking a ripe fruit from a tree with hooks, shake down prosperity for us, Indra, so we are satisfied!

Stanza 3.45.5

स्व॒युरि॑न्द्र स्व॒राळ॑सि॒ स्मद्दि॑ष्टिः॒ स्वय॑शस्तरः | स वा॑वृधा॒न ओज॑सा पुरुष्टुत॒ भवा॑ नः सु॒श्रव॑स्तमः ||

svayúr indra svarā́ḷ asi smáddiṣṭiḥ sváyaśastaraḥ sá vāvr̥dhāná ójasā puruṣṭuta bhávā naḥ suśrávastamaḥ

Indra, you are self-ruling and supreme! You possess great glory and are constantly growing stronger with your power. O Indra, praised by many, be the best at hearing us!
