    Stanza 10.83.1

    यस्ते॑ म॒न्योऽवि॑धद्वज्र सायक॒ सह॒ ओजः॑ पुष्यति॒ विश्व॑मानु॒षक् | सा॒ह्याम॒ दास॒मार्यं॒ त्वया॑ यु॒जा सह॑स्कृतेन॒ सह॑सा॒ सह॑स्वता ||

    yás te manyó 'vidhad vajra sāyaka sáha ójaḥ puṣyati víśvam ānuṣák sāhyā́ma dā́sam ā́ryaṁ tváyā yujā́ sáhaskr̥tena sáhasā sáhasvatā

    O Manyu, who upholds the thunderbolt as an arrow, whoever honors you, gains all-conquering power. With your help, O powerful one, we shall conquer the Dasa and the Arya, and with your might, O conqueror, we shall achieve victory.

    Stanza 10.83.2

    म॒न्युरिन्द्रो॑ म॒न्युरे॒वास॑ दे॒वो म॒न्युर्होता॒ वरु॑णो जा॒तवे॑दाः | म॒न्युं विश॑ ईळते॒ मानु॑षी॒र्याः पा॒हि नो॑ मन्यो॒ तप॑सा स॒जोषाः॑ ||

    manyúr índro manyúr evā́sa devó manyúr hótā váruṇo jātávedāḥ manyúṁ víśa īḷate mā́nuṣīr yā́ḥ pāhí no manyo tápasā sajóṣāḥ

    Manyu is Indra, Manyu is the divine being, Manyu is the priest (Hotar), Varuṇa, and the knower of all beings (Jātavedas). Human communities praise Manyu. O Manyu, in unison with your fervor, protect us.

    Stanza 10.83.3

    अ॒भी॑हि मन्यो त॒वस॒स्तवी॑या॒न्तप॑सा यु॒जा वि ज॑हि॒ शत्रू॑न् | अ॒मि॒त्र॒हा वृ॑त्र॒हा द॑स्यु॒हा च॒ विश्वा॒ वसू॒न्या भ॑रा॒ त्वं नः॑ ||

    abhīā̀hi manyo tavásas távīyān tápasā yujā́ ví jahi śátrūn amitrahā́ vr̥trahā́ dasyuhā́ ca víśvā vásūny ā́ bharā tváṁ naḥ

    Come quickly, O Manyu, you who are mightier than the mighty! With your fervent energy as an ally, strike down the enemies. You are the destroyer of foes, the destroyer of Vritra, and the destroyer of the Dasa. Bring us all wealth.

    Stanza 10.83.4

    त्वं हि म॑न्यो अ॒भिभू॑त्योजाः स्वय॒म्भूर्भामो॑ अभिमातिषा॒हः | वि॒श्वच॑र्षणिः॒ सहु॑रिः॒ सहा॑वान॒स्मास्वोजः॒ पृत॑नासु धेहि ||

    tváṁ hí manyo abhíbhūtyojāḥ svayambhū́r bhā́mo abhimātiṣāháḥ viśvácarṣaṇiḥ sáhuriḥ sáhāvān asmā́sv ójaḥ pŕ̥tanāsu dhehi

    For indeed, O Manyu, you possess overwhelming power, you exist by yourself, you are fierce in anger, you conquer those who attack you, you see all things, you are victorious and strong. Infuse us with power in battles.

    Stanza 10.83.5

    अ॒भा॒गः सन्नप॒ परे॑तो अस्मि॒ तव॒ क्रत्वा॑ तवि॒षस्य॑ प्रचेतः | तं त्वा॑ मन्यो अक्र॒तुर्जि॑हीळा॒हं स्वा त॒नूर्ब॑ल॒देया॑य॒ मेहि॑ ||

    abhāgáḥ sánn ápa páreto asmi táva krátvā taviṣásya pracetaḥ táṁ tvā manyo akratúr jihīḷāháṁ svā́ tanū́r baladéyāya méhi

    Having lost my share, I have gone afar, O wise one, according to your powerful will. I, without understanding, have been angered by you, O Manyu. I myself, in my own body, have come for your strength. Come to me.

    Stanza 10.83.6

    अ॒यं ते॑ अ॒स्म्युप॒ मेह्य॒र्वाङ्प्र॑तीची॒नः स॑हुरे विश्वधायः | मन्यो॑ वज्रिन्न॒भि मामा व॑वृत्स्व॒ हना॑व॒ दस्यूँ॑रु॒त बो॑ध्या॒पेः ||

    ayáṁ te asmy úpa méhy arvā́ṅ pratīcīnáḥ sahure viśvadhāyaḥ mányo vajrinn abhí mā́m ā́ vavr̥tsva hánāva dásyūm̐r utá bodhy āpéḥ

    I am yours, O Manyu, approach me! Turn towards me, O victorious and all-sustaining one. O Manyu, wielder of the thunderbolt, turn towards me. Recognize me as your friend and help me slay the Dasas.

    Stanza 10.83.7

    अ॒भि प्रेहि॑ दक्षिण॒तो भ॑वा॒ मेऽधा॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ जङ्घनाव॒ भूरि॑ | जु॒होमि॑ ते ध॒रुणं॒ मध्वो॒ अग्र॑मु॒भा उ॑पां॒शु प्र॑थ॒मा पि॑बाव ||

    abhí préhi dakṣiṇató bhavā mé 'dhā vr̥trā́ṇi jaṅghanāva bhū́ri juhómi te dharúṇam mádhvo ágram ubhā́ upāṁśú prathamā́ pibāva

    Approach from the right, O Manyu, and be my support. Then we shall slay many Vritras. I offer you the best and most potent of the sweet Soma drink. Let us both drink it first.
