Stanza 10.7.1

स्व॒स्ति नो॑ दि॒वो अ॑ग्ने पृथि॒व्या वि॒श्वायु॑र्धेहि य॒जथा॑य देव | सचे॑महि॒ तव॑ दस्म प्रके॒तैरु॑रु॒ष्या ण॑ उ॒रुभि॑र्देव॒ शंसैः॑ ||

svastí no divó agne pr̥thivyā́ viśvā́yur dhehi yajáthāya deva sácemahi táva dasma praketaír uruṣyā́ ṇa urúbhir deva śáṁsaiḥ

O Agni, bring us well-being from the sky and earth, encompassing all life. May we, O divine and wondrous one, be associated with your illuminating wisdom; protect us, O God, with your vast blessings.

Stanza 10.7.2

इ॒मा अ॑ग्ने म॒तय॒स्तुभ्यं॑ जा॒ता गोभि॒रश्वै॑र॒भि गृ॑णन्ति॒ राधः॑ | य॒दा ते॒ मर्तो॒ अनु॒ भोग॒मान॒ड्वसो॒ दधा॑नो म॒तिभिः॑ सुजात ||

imā́ agne matáyas túbhyaṁ jātā́ góbhir áśvair abhí gr̥ṇanti rā́dhaḥ yadā́ te márto ánu bhógam ā́naḍ váso dádhāno matíbhiḥ sujāta

O Agni, these hymns, born for you, praise your gifts with cattle and horses. When a mortal obtains enjoyment from you, O excellent one, having embraced devotion, they have gained it.

Stanza 10.7.3

अ॒ग्निं म॑न्ये पि॒तर॑म॒ग्निमा॒पिम॒ग्निं भ्रात॑रं॒ सद॒मित्सखा॑यम् | अ॒ग्नेरनी॑कं बृह॒तः स॑पर्यं दि॒वि शु॒क्रं य॑ज॒तं सूर्य॑स्य ||

agním manye pitáram agním āpím agním bhrā́taraṁ sádam ít sákhāyam agnér ánīkam br̥hatáḥ saparyaṁ diví śukráṁ yajatáṁ sū́ryasya

I consider Agni my father, my kinsman, my brother, and my ever-present companion. I worship the radiant form of the great Agni, the bright and sacred light of the sun in the heavens.

Stanza 10.7.4

सि॒ध्रा अ॑ग्ने॒ धियो॑ अ॒स्मे सनु॑त्री॒र्यं त्राय॑से॒ दम॒ आ नित्य॑होता | ऋ॒तावा॒ स रो॒हिद॑श्वः पुरु॒क्षुर्द्युभि॑रस्मा॒ अह॑भिर्वा॒मम॑स्तु ||

sidhrā́ agne dhíyo asmé sánutrīr yáṁ trā́yase dáma ā́ nítyahotā r̥tā́vā sá rohídaśvaḥ purukṣúr dyúbhir asmā áhabhir vāmám astu

O Agni, may our prayers for success be effective. You, who are the constant priest at home, and who upholds order, protect the one you save. May that one, with red steeds, rich in sustenance, be blessed by day and night.

Stanza 10.7.5

द्युभि॑र्हि॒तं मि॒त्रमि॑व प्र॒योगं॑ प्र॒त्नमृ॒त्विज॑मध्व॒रस्य॑ जा॒रम् | बा॒हुभ्या॑म॒ग्निमा॒यवो॑ऽजनन्त वि॒क्षु होता॑रं॒ न्य॑सादयन्त ||

dyúbhir hitám mitrám iva prayógam pratnám r̥tvíjam adhvarásya jārám bāhúbhyām agním āyávo 'jananta vikṣú hótāraṁ ny àsādayanta

With their arms, the people generated Agni, who is like a friend, possessing brilliance, ancient, and the priest of the sacrifice. They established Agni, the invoker, among the communities.

Stanza 10.7.6

स्व॒यं य॑जस्व दि॒वि दे॑व दे॒वान्किं ते॒ पाकः॑ कृणव॒दप्र॑चेताः | यथाय॑ज ऋ॒तुभि॑र्देव दे॒वाने॒वा य॑जस्व त॒न्वं॑ सुजात ||

svayáṁ yajasva diví deva devā́n kíṁ te pā́kaḥ kr̥ṇavad ápracetāḥ yáthā́yaja r̥túbhir deva devā́n evā́ yajasva tanvàṁ sujāta

O God, worship the gods in heaven yourself. What can an ignorant, foolish person do for you? Just as you have worshipped the gods according to the seasons, O God, worship yourself, O well-born one.

Stanza 10.7.7

भवा॑ नो अग्नेऽवि॒तोत गो॒पा भवा॑ वय॒स्कृदु॒त नो॑ वयो॒धाः | रास्वा॑ च नः सुमहो ह॒व्यदा॑तिं॒ त्रास्वो॒त न॑स्त॒न्वो॒३॒॑ अप्र॑युच्छन् ||

bhávā no agne 'vitótá gopā́ bhávā vayaskŕ̥d utá no vayodhā́ḥ rā́svā ca naḥ sumaho havyádātiṁ trā́svotá nas tanvò áprayuchan

O Agni, be our protector and guardian. Be our life-giver and bestower of vital energy. Grant us, O greatly powerful one, the acceptance of our offerings, and protect our bodies without fail.
