इ॒मां मे॑ अग्ने स॒मिधं॑ जुषस्वे॒ळस्प॒दे प्रति॑ हर्या घृ॒ताची॑म् | वर्ष्म॑न्पृथि॒व्याः सु॑दिन॒त्वे अह्ना॑मू॒र्ध्वो भ॑व सुक्रतो देवय॒ज्या ||
imā́m me agne samídhaṁ juṣasveḷás padé práti haryā ghr̥tā́cīm várṣman pr̥thivyā́ḥ sudinatvé áhnām ūrdhvó bhava sukrato devayajyā́
Agni, accept this fuel of mine and gladly receive the ghee in the place of libation. Rise up, O wise one, to the pinnacle of the earth, and be radiant on this fine day for the worship of the gods.
The worshipper addresses the fire god Agni, requesting him to accept the offering of fuel and ghee. Agni is asked to ascend to the height of the earth and shine brightly, enabling the worship of the gods on this auspicious day.

May Narasarhsa, the foremost of the gods, come here with his varied-formed horses. May he, most divine, accept our offerings with reverence, on the path of cosmic order, and bring us good fortune.

This verse speaks of the ritual preparations. The pressing stone for Soma is raised, the fire is burning brightly, and the essence of Aditi's divine nature provides a dwelling place. The two chief priests are invoked to perform the sacrifice with skill, to win wealth and prosperity.

ā́gne vaha váruṇam iṣṭáye na índraṁ divó marúto antárikṣāt sī́dantu barhír víśva ā́ yájatrāḥ svā́hā devā́ amŕ̥tā mādayantām
Agni, bring Varuna for our offering, Indra from heaven, and the Maruts from the atmosphere. May all the divine beings sit on the sacred grass. May the immortal gods rejoice with 'Svaha'.
Agni is invoked to bring the gods Varuna, Indra, and the Maruts to the sacrifice for a specific purpose. These divine beings, along with other divine entities, are asked to be seated on the sacred grass. The verse concludes with a wish for the immortal gods to rejoice after the ritual, signifying acceptance and fulfillment.
