Dawn and Night, the great and beautifully formed pair, Heaven and Earth, Varuṇa, Mitra, and Aryaman! I call upon Indra, the Maruts, the mountains, the waters, the Ādityas, Heaven and Earth, the waters, and the sky.

We bring forth the life-sustaining power for the waters, swift to hear, dear to the gods, and glorious in sacrifice. We shall control the bright-rayed Soma-power, which is Indra's strength. Today, we seek that divine aid.

May we achieve success with winning methods, remaining alive with living children and without sin. May those who hate prayer be driven away in all directions, bearing our guilt. Today, we seek that divine aid.
