प्राग्नये॒ वाच॑मीरय वृष॒भाय॑ क्षिती॒नाम् | स नः॑ पर्ष॒दति॒ द्विषः॑ ||
prā́gnáye vā́cam īraya vr̥ṣabhā́ya kṣitīnā́m sá naḥ parṣad áti dvíṣaḥ
I send forth words to Agni, the bull of the people. May he carry us across our enemies.

He who shines brilliantly from afar across the desolate regions, may he carry us across our enemies.

He who utterly consumes the demons with his bright flame, the bull, may he carry us across our enemies.
