बृह॒स्पति॑र्नयतु दु॒र्गहा॑ ति॒रः पुन॑र्नेषद॒घशं॑साय॒ मन्म॑ | क्षि॒पदश॑स्ति॒मप॑ दुर्म॒तिं ह॒न्नथा॑ कर॒द्यज॑मानाय॒ शं योः ||
bŕ̥haspátir nayatu durgáhā tiráḥ púnar neṣad agháśaṁsāya mánma kṣipád áśastim ápa durmatíṁ hann áthā karad yájamānāya śáṁ yóḥ
May Brihaspati lead us through dangers. May he turn his unfavorable thoughts toward the sinful. May he cast away malice and ill-will, and grant the sacrificer peace and well-being.
This stanza is a prayer invoking Brihaspati, the god of wisdom and prayer, to guide the supplicant through difficulties and protect them from evil influences. The prayer asks Brihaspati to turn away misfortunes, remove ill-will and negative thoughts, and ultimately bring peace and prosperity to the one who performs the sacrifice.

nárāśáṁso no 'vatu prayājé śáṁ no astv anuyājó háveṣu kṣipád áśastim ápa durmatíṁ hann áthā karad yájamānāya śáṁ yóḥ
May Narashamsa protect us at the Prayaja ritual. May the Anuyaja ritual be well for us in invocations. May he cast away malice and ill-will, and grant the sacrificer peace and well-being.
This verse invokes Narashamsa, a divine being associated with praise and sacrifice, to assist the devotee during the 'Prayaja' and 'Anuyaja' rituals. May he whose head is burning hot, burn the demons, the haters of sacred knowledge. May an arrow be for their destruction. May he cast away malice and ill-will, and grant the sacrificer peace and well-being.
