Stanza 10.171.1

त्वं त्यमि॒टतो॒ रथ॒मिन्द्र॒ प्रावः॑ सु॒ताव॑तः | अशृ॑णोः सो॒मिनो॒ हव॑म् ||

tváṁ tyám iṭáto rátham índra prā́vaḥ sutā́vataḥ áśr̥ṇoḥ somíno hávam

You, Indra, heard the call of the Soma-presser and protected the chariot of him who pressed the juice.

Stanza 10.171.2

त्वं म॒खस्य॒ दोध॑तः॒ शिरोऽव॑ त्व॒चो भ॑रः | अग॑च्छः सो॒मिनो॑ गृ॒हम् ||

tvám makhásya dódhataḥ śíró 'va tvacó bharaḥ ágachaḥ somíno gr̥hám

You, Indra, removed the head from the skin of the swift one and found the home of the Soma-giver.

Stanza 10.171.3

त्वं त्यमि॑न्द्र॒ मर्त्य॑मास्त्रबु॒ध्नाय॑ वे॒न्यम् | मुहुः॑ श्रथ्ना मन॒स्यवे॑ ||

tváṁ tyám indra mártyam āstrabudhnā́ya venyám múhuḥ śrathnā manasyáve

You, Indra, many times freed that mortal man Venya, who is devoted to Âstrabudhna.

Stanza 10.171.4

त्वं त्यमि॑न्द्र॒ सूर्यं॑ प॒श्चा सन्तं॑ पु॒रस्कृ॑धि | दे॒वानां॑ चित्ति॒रो वश॑म् ||

tváṁ tyám indra sū́ryam paścā́ sántam purás kr̥dhi devā́nāṁ cit tiró váśam

You, Indra, bring the sun, which is in the west, to the east, even against the will of the gods.
