Stanza 10.150.1
समि॑द्धश्चि॒त्समि॑ध्यसे दे॒वेभ्यो॑ हव्यवाहन | आ॒दि॒त्यै रु॒द्रैर्वसु॑भिर्न॒ आ ग॑हि मृळी॒काय॑ न॒ आ ग॑हि ||
sámiddhaś cit sám idhyase devébhyo havyavāhana ādityaí rudraír vásubhir na ā́ gahi mr̥ḷīkā́ya na ā́ gahi
O bearer of offerings, you are kindled for the gods. Come to us with the Adityas, Rudras, and Vasus. Come to us to grant us favor.
This verse is a prayer to Agni, the divine fire god, invoked as the "bearer of oblations." The prayer acknowledges that Agni, though already kindled by divine forces, is being further invoked by mortals. Approaching with joy, accept this sacrifice and this word. O Agni, who is kindled, we mortals invoke you. We invoke you for favor.

I praise you, O Jātavedas, O bestower of all blessings, with my song and thought. Agni, bring the gods who cherish right ways to us for favor.

Agni became the God, the priest of the gods. Men and sages have kindled Agni. I invoke Agni for great wealth, I invoke the benevolent one for wealth.
This verse declares Agni's divine status and his role as the chief priest of the gods. It states that humans, including sages and mortals, have established Agni through worship and invocation. The speaker then calls upon Agni to come, invoking him both for protection and for the acquisition of great wealth.

Agni protected for us Atri, Bharadvāja, Gaviṣṭhira, Kaṇva, and Trasadasyu in battles. Vasistha invokes Agni, the household priest, for favor.
