    Stanza 10.140.1

    अग्ने॒ तव॒ श्रवो॒ वयो॒ महि॑ भ्राजन्ते अ॒र्चयो॑ विभावसो | बृह॑द्भानो॒ शव॑सा॒ वाज॑मु॒क्थ्यं१॒॑ दधा॑सि दा॒शुषे॑ कवे ||

    ágne táva śrávo váyo máhi bhrājante arcáyo vibhāvaso bŕ̥hadbhāno śávasā vā́jam ukthyàṁ dádhāsi dāśúṣe kave

    O Agni, your fame and vital energy are yours; your radiant energies blaze with might. O you who are rich in brilliance, O wise one, with your strength, you provide the worthy sacrifice with food and praise.

    Stanza 10.140.2

    पा॒व॒कव॑र्चाः शु॒क्रव॑र्चा॒ अनू॑नवर्चा॒ उदि॑यर्षि भा॒नुना॑ | पु॒त्रो मा॒तरा॑ वि॒चर॒न्नुपा॑वसि पृ॒णक्षि॒ रोद॑सी उ॒भे ||

    pāvakávarcāḥ śukrávarcā ánūnavarcā úd iyarṣi bhānúnā putró mātárā vicárann úpāvasi pr̥ṇákṣi ródasī ubhé

    With purifying and bright radiance, you rise with your light. Moving among the two mothers as a son, you fill them, uniting both the earth and the heavens.

    Stanza 10.140.3

    ऊर्जो॑ नपाज्जातवेदः सुश॒स्तिभि॒र्मन्द॑स्व धी॒तिभि॑र्हि॒तः | त्वे इषः॒ सं द॑धु॒र्भूरि॑वर्पसश्चि॒त्रोत॑यो वा॒मजा॑ताः ||

    ū́rjo napāj jātavedaḥ suśastíbhir mándasva dhītíbhir hitáḥ tvé íṣaḥ sáṁ dadhur bhū́rivarpasaś citrótayo vāmájātāḥ

    O Son of Strength, O knower of all births, rejoice with our praiseworthy thoughts and hymns. All nourishment is gathered in you; you are the giver of wondrously formed and beneficial things.

    Stanza 10.140.4

    इ॒र॒ज्यन्न॑ग्ने प्रथयस्व ज॒न्तुभि॑र॒स्मे रायो॑ अमर्त्य | स द॑र्श॒तस्य॒ वपु॑षो॒ वि रा॑जसि पृ॒णक्षि॑ सान॒सिं क्रतु॑म् ||

    irajyánn agne prathayasva jantúbhir asmé rā́yo amartya sá darśatásya vápuṣo ví rājasi pr̥ṇákṣi sānasíṁ krátum

    O Agni, the ruler, spread forth among living beings; grant us wealth, O Immortal God. You shine forth with visible beauty; you lead us to conquering success.

    Stanza 10.140.5

    इ॒ष्क॒र्तार॑मध्व॒रस्य॒ प्रचे॑तसं॒ क्षय॑न्तं॒ राध॑सो म॒हः | रा॒तिं वा॒मस्य॑ सु॒भगां॑ म॒हीमिषं॒ दधा॑सि सान॒सिं र॒यिम् ||

    iṣkartā́ram adhvarásya prácetasaṁ kṣáyantaṁ rā́dhaso maháḥ rātíṁ vāmásya subhágām mahī́m íṣaṁ dádhāsi sānasíṁ rayím

    You give to the wise organizer of the sacrifice, the possessor of great wealth, a blessed reward, abundant nourishment, and victorious wealth.

    Stanza 10.140.6

    ऋ॒तावा॑नं महि॒षं वि॒श्वद॑र्शतम॒ग्निं सु॒म्नाय॑ दधिरे पु॒रो जनाः॑ | श्रुत्क॑र्णं स॒प्रथ॑स्तमं त्वा गि॒रा दैव्यं॒ मानु॑षा यु॒गा ||

    r̥tā́vānam mahiṣáṁ viśvádarśatam agníṁ sumnā́ya dadhire puró jánāḥ śrútkarṇaṁ sapráthastamaṁ tvā girā́ daívyam mā́nuṣā yugā́

    People have set Agni, the upholder of order, the mighty, visible to all, before them for their well-being. We praise you, O Godlike one with attentive ears, the most famous, through hymns, O divine one, across human generations.
