Stanza 10.134.1

उ॒भे यदि॑न्द्र॒ रोद॑सी आप॒प्राथो॒षा इ॑व | म॒हान्तं॑ त्वा म॒हीनां॑ स॒म्राजं॑ चर्षणी॒नां दे॒वी जनि॑त्र्यजीजनद्भ॒द्रा जनि॑त्र्यजीजनत् ||

ubhé yád indra ródasī āpaprā́thoṣā́ iva mahā́ntaṁ tvā mahī́nāṁ samrā́jaṁ carṣaṇīnā́ṁ devī́ jánitry ajījanad bhadrā́ jánitry ajījanat

Indra, just as you filled the earth and sky like the dawn, you are the great king of humanity. A divine mother and a blessed mother gave birth to you.

Stanza 10.134.2

अव॑ स्म दुर्हणाय॒तो मर्त॑स्य तनुहि स्थि॒रम् | अ॒ध॒स्प॒दं तमीं॑ कृधि॒ यो अ॒स्माँ आ॒दिदे॑शति दे॒वी जनि॑त्र्यजीजनद्भ॒द्रा जनि॑त्र्यजीजनत् ||

áva sma durhaṇāyató mártasya tanuhi sthirám adhaspadáṁ tám īṁ kr̥dhi yó asmā́m̐ ādídeśati devī́ jánitry ajījanad bhadrā́ jánitry ajījanat

Indra, please weaken the strength of the wicked mortal. Bring down that person who is watching and aiming at us. A divine mother and a blessed mother gave birth to you.

Stanza 10.134.3

अव॒ त्या बृ॑ह॒तीरिषो॑ वि॒श्वश्च॑न्द्रा अमित्रहन् | शची॑भिः शक्र धूनु॒हीन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑भिरू॒तिभि॑र्दे॒वी जनि॑त्र्यजीजनद्भ॒द्रा जनि॑त्र्यजीजनत् ||

áva tyā́ br̥hatī́r íṣo viśváścandrā amitrahan śácībhiḥ śakra dhūnuhī́ndra víśvābhir ūtíbhir devī́ jánitry ajījanad bhadrā́ jánitry ajījanat

Indra, slayer of enemies, shake down those great and splendid foes. O Śakra, with your powers, O Indra, with all your aids, shake them down. A divine mother and a blessed mother gave birth to you.

Stanza 10.134.4

अव॒ यत्त्वं श॑तक्रत॒विन्द्र॒ विश्वा॑नि धूनु॒षे | र॒यिं न सु॑न्व॒ते सचा॑ सह॒स्रिणी॑भिरू॒तिभि॑र्दे॒वी जनि॑त्र्यजीजनद्भ॒द्रा जनि॑त्र्यजीजनत् ||

áva yát tváṁ śatakratav índra víśvāni dhūnuṣé rayíṁ ná sunvaté sácā sahasríṇībhir ūtíbhir devī́ jánitry ajījanad bhadrā́ jánitry ajījanat

O Śatakratu, O Indra, you shake down all things. Just as you bestow wealth upon the sacrificer with your thousandfold aids, so do you act. A divine mother and a blessed mother gave birth to you.

Stanza 10.134.5

अव॒ स्वेदा॑ इवा॒भितो॒ विष्व॑क्पतन्तु दि॒द्यवः॑ | दूर्वा॑या इव॒ तन्त॑वो॒ व्य१॒॑स्मदे॑तु दुर्म॒तिर्दे॒वी जनि॑त्र्यजीजनद्भ॒द्रा जनि॑त्र्यजीजनत् ||

áva svédā ivābhíto víṣvak patantu didyávaḥ dū́rvāyā iva tántavo vy àsmád etu durmatír devī́ jánitry ajījanad bhadrā́ jánitry ajījanat

May lightning-flashes fall around like sweat. May ill-will depart from us like threads of grass. A divine mother and a blessed mother gave birth to you.

Stanza 10.134.6

दी॒र्घं ह्य॑ङ्कु॒शं य॑था॒ शक्तिं॒ बिभ॑र्षि मन्तुमः | पूर्वे॑ण मघवन्प॒दाजो व॒यां यथा॑ यमो दे॒वी जनि॑त्र्यजीजनद्भ॒द्रा जनि॑त्र्यजीजनत् ||

dīrgháṁ hy àṅkuśáṁ yathā śáktim bíbharṣi mantumaḥ pū́rveṇa maghavan padā́jó vayā́ṁ yáthā yamo devī́ jánitry ajījanad bhadrā́ jánitry ajījanat

You hold a long, hook-like weapon, O great counsellor. O Maghavan, you bring down (prey) with your foremost foot, like a goat bringing down a branch. A divine mother and a blessed mother gave birth to you.

Stanza 10.134.7

नकि॑र्देवा मिनीमसि॒ नकि॒रा यो॑पयामसि मन्त्र॒श्रुत्यं॑ चरामसि | प॒क्षेभि॑रपिक॒क्षेभि॒रत्रा॒भि सं र॑भामहे ||

nákir devā minīmasi nákir ā́ yopayāmasi mantraśrútyaṁ carāmasi pakṣébhir apikakṣébhir átrābhí sáṁ rabhāmahe

We never offend the gods, nor are we ever disobedient. We act according to the wisdom heard in sacred texts. We closely embrace you, O Gods, clinging to your sides and beneath your arms.
