Stanza 10.110.1

समि॑द्धो अ॒द्य मनु॑षो दुरो॒णे दे॒वो दे॒वान्य॑जसि जातवेदः | आ च॒ वह॑ मित्रमहश्चिकि॒त्वान्त्वं दू॒तः क॒विर॑सि॒ प्रचे॑ताः ||

sámiddho adyá mánuṣo duroṇé devó devā́n yajasi jātavedaḥ ā́ ca váha mitramahaś cikitvā́n tváṁ dūtáḥ kavír asi prácetāḥ

O Jātavedas, Agni, kindled today in the human dwelling, you worship the gods as a god. You are observant and wise, a knowing messenger, O Mitra-like one, bring them here.

Stanza 10.110.2

तनू॑नपात्प॒थ ऋ॒तस्य॒ याना॒न्मध्वा॑ सम॒ञ्जन्त्स्व॑दया सुजिह्व | मन्मा॑नि धी॒भिरु॒त य॒ज्ञमृ॒न्धन्दे॑व॒त्रा च॑ कृणुह्यध्व॒रं नः॑ ||

tánūnapāt pathá r̥tásya yā́nān mádhvā samañján svadayā sujihva mánmāni dhībhír utá yajñám r̥ndhán devatrā́ ca kr̥ṇuhy adhvaráṁ naḥ

O Tanūnapāt, fair-tongued one, anointing the paths of Rta with sweetness, make them pleasing. Also, with thoughts and devotion, enhance our sacrifice and bring it to the gods.

Stanza 10.110.3

आ॒जुह्वा॑न॒ ईड्यो॒ वन्द्य॒श्चा या॑ह्यग्ने॒ वसु॑भिः स॒जोषाः॑ | त्वं दे॒वाना॑मसि यह्व॒ होता॒ स ए॑नान्यक्षीषि॒तो यजी॑यान् ||

ājúhvāna ī́ḍyo vándyaś cā́ yāhy agne vásubhiḥ sajóṣāḥ tváṁ devā́nām asi yahva hótā sá enān yakṣīṣitó yájīyān

O Agni, invoked and worthy of praise, come with the Vasus, as you are the Gods' priest and the most excellent sacrificer. Bring them quickly.

Stanza 10.110.4

प्रा॒चीनं॑ ब॒र्हिः प्र॒दिशा॑ पृथि॒व्या वस्तो॑र॒स्या वृ॑ज्यते॒ अग्रे॒ अह्ना॑म् | व्यु॑ प्रथते वित॒रं वरी॑यो दे॒वेभ्यो॒ अदि॑तये स्यो॒नम् ||

prācī́nam barhíḥ pradíśā pr̥thivyā́ vástor asyā́ vr̥jyate ágre áhnām vy ù prathate vitaráṁ várīyo devébhyo áditaye syonám

The sacred grass, spread eastward in accordance with the earth's expanse, is prepared at the beginning of the days. It expands widely, creating a comfortable space for the gods and Aditi.

Stanza 10.110.5

व्यच॑स्वतीरुर्वि॒या वि श्र॑यन्तां॒ पति॑भ्यो॒ न जन॑यः॒ शुम्भ॑मानाः | देवी॑र्द्वारो बृहतीर्विश्वमिन्वा दे॒वेभ्यो॑ भवत सुप्राय॒णाः ||

vyácasvatīr urviyā́ ví śrayantām pátibhyo ná jánayaḥ śúmbhamānāḥ dévīr dvāro br̥hatīr viśvaminvā devébhyo bhavata suprāyaṇā́ḥ

Let the expansive divine doors be widely opened, shining brightly like wives adorning themselves for their husbands. O lofty and all-pervading doors, become easy to enter for the gods.

Stanza 10.110.6

आ सु॒ष्वय॑न्ती यज॒ते उपा॑के उ॒षासा॒नक्ता॑ सदतां॒ नि योनौ॑ | दि॒व्ये योष॑णे बृह॒ती सु॑रु॒क्मे अधि॒ श्रियं॑ शुक्र॒पिशं॒ दधा॑ने ||

ā́ suṣváyantī yajaté úpāke uṣā́sānáktā sadatāṁ ní yónau divyé yóṣaṇe br̥hatī́ surukmé ádhi śríyaṁ śukrapíśaṁ dádhāne

Let Ushas and Naktā, the divine pair, seated together in their station, as radiant celestial women adorned with splendor, bring forth beautiful and shining light.

Stanza 10.110.7

दैव्या॒ होता॑रा प्रथ॒मा सु॒वाचा॒ मिमा॑ना य॒ज्ञं मनु॑षो॒ यज॑ध्यै | प्र॒चो॒दय॑न्ता वि॒दथे॑षु का॒रू प्रा॒चीनं॒ ज्योतिः॑ प्र॒दिशा॑ दि॒शन्ता॑ ||

daívyā hótārā prathamā́ suvā́cā mímānā yajñám mánuṣo yájadhyai pracodáyantā vidátheṣu kārū́ prācī́naṁ jyótiḥ pradíśā diśántā

May the two first divine priests, with sweet voices, who arrange the sacrifice for humans to worship, come. Inspiring in assemblies, may they guide the eastward light.

Stanza 10.110.8

आ नो॑ य॒ज्ञं भार॑ती॒ तूय॑मे॒त्विळा॑ मनु॒ष्वदि॒ह चे॒तय॑न्ती | ति॒स्रो दे॒वीर्ब॒र्हिरेदं स्यो॒नं सर॑स्वती॒ स्वप॑सः सदन्तु ||

ā́ no yajñám bhā́ratī tū́yam etv íḷā manuṣvád ihá cetáyantī tisró devī́r barhír édáṁ syonáṁ sárasvatī svápasaḥ sadantu

May Bharati come quickly to our sacrifice, and Ila, understanding like a human. May the three goddesses, Sarasvati and her two companions, skillful in their work, be seated on this pleasant grass.

Stanza 10.110.9

य इ॒मे द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी जनि॑त्री रू॒पैरपिं॑श॒द्भुव॑नानि॒ विश्वा॑ | तम॒द्य हो॑तरिषि॒तो यजी॑यान्दे॒वं त्वष्टा॑रमि॒ह य॑क्षि वि॒द्वान् ||

yá imé dyā́vāpr̥thivī́ jánitrī rūpaír ápiṁśad bhúvanāni víśvā tám adyá hotar iṣitó yájīyān deváṁ tváṣṭāram ihá yakṣi vidvā́n

O Hotṛ, more skilled in sacrifice, worship the divine craftsman Tvashṭar here today, you who know. He fashioned these parents, heaven and earth, and all worlds with their forms.

Stanza 10.110.10

उ॒पाव॑सृज॒ त्मन्या॑ सम॒ञ्जन्दे॒वानां॒ पाथ॑ ऋतु॒था ह॒वींषि॑ | वन॒स्पतिः॑ शमि॒ता दे॒वो अ॒ग्निः स्वद॑न्तु ह॒व्यं मधु॑ना घृ॒तेन॑ ||

upā́vasr̥ja tmányā samañján devā́nām pā́tha r̥tuthā́ havī́ṁṣi vánaspátiḥ śamitā́ devó agníḥ svádantu havyám mádhunā ghr̥téna

Release the offerings yourself, consecrating them for the gods' enjoyment in due season. O Agni, the divine immolator, and Vanaspati, make the offering sweet with honey and ghee.

Stanza 10.110.11

स॒द्यो जा॒तो व्य॑मिमीत य॒ज्ञम॒ग्निर्दे॒वाना॑मभवत्पुरो॒गाः | अ॒स्य होतुः॑ प्र॒दिश्यृ॒तस्य॑ वा॒चि स्वाहा॑कृतं ह॒विर॑दन्तु दे॒वाः ||

sadyó jātó vy àmimīta yajñám agnír devā́nām abhavat purogā́ḥ asyá hótuḥ pradíśy r̥tásya vācí svā́hākr̥taṁ havír adantu devā́ḥ

As soon as Agni was born, he organized the sacrifice and became the leader of the gods. May the gods consume our offering, consecrated in the speech and according to the direction of this true priest.
