Mātariśvan brought one (offering) from the sky, and a falcon brought another from the mountain. Agni and Soma, empowered by prayer, made ample space for our sacrifice.
This verse describes two actions attributed to divine beings. Mātariśvan (a deity associated with fire) brought one offering from the sky, while a falcon (perhaps a metaphor for a swift divine agent) brought another from the mountain. Agni and Soma, strengthened by prayer ('brahman'), then created ample space for sacrifices, implying they facilitated the rituals.
