अश्वा॑वति प्रथ॒मो गोषु॑ गच्छति सुप्रा॒वीरि॑न्द्र॒ मर्त्य॒स्तवो॒तिभिः॑ | तमित्पृ॑णक्षि॒ वसु॑ना॒ भवी॑यसा॒ सिन्धु॒मापो॒ यथा॒भितो॒ विचे॑तसः ||
áśvāvati prathamó góṣu gachati suprāvī́r indra mártyas távotíbhiḥ tám ít pr̥ṇakṣi vásunā bhávīyasā síndhum ā́po yáthābhíto vícetasaḥ
Hey Indra, the mortal who is well-equipped with your help, leads in wealth, whether it's horses or cows. You fill them up with abundant resources, just like waters naturally fill the ocean.

The divine waters don't come right up to the ritual offering, they just look down and see how far the dust is spread. The gods lead the seeker of the divine, and the waters welcome them like suitors welcome their chosen ones.
