Stanza 1.42.1
सं पू॑ष॒न्नध्व॑नस्तिर॒ व्यंहो॑ विमुचो नपात् | सक्ष्वा॑ देव॒ प्र ण॑स्पु॒रः ||
sám pūṣann ádhvanas tira vy áṁho vimuco napāt sákṣvā deva prá ṇas puráḥ
Oh Pūṣan, please shorten our paths, and clear away any troubles along the way. Son of freedom, help us get rid of worries! God, please go before us and guide us.
This verse is a prayer to Pūṣan, the god associated with nourishment and paths, asking him to make our journeys smooth and safe. The speaker wants Pūṣan to clear away obstacles and to lead them forward, essentially asking for a divine escort on their travels.

This verse continues the theme of safe passage, asking Pūṣan to guide them to lush pastures and to prevent any harsh or early heat from hindering their journey. Similar to the previous verse, it implores Pūṣan to demonstrate his might and effectiveness in their present circumstances.
