Let's celebrate Brihaspati! He's powerful, has a delightful voice, and is always worthy of praise. New songs are being sung to him, and everyone, gods and humans alike, eagerly listens.

Just as a flowing stream attracts attention, so too do hymns and praises come to him. Brihaspati, who was unleashed like a powerful surge, established the vast spaces, and was present with Matarishvan during the sacred rite.
This stanza describes Brihaspati as a cosmic force that attracts divine attention. Like a flowing stream that draws people, songs of praise (vācaḥ) are drawn to him. He is the one who created the vast expanses and existed with Matarishvan, the divine wind or spirit, during the sacrifice.
