ā́ na íḷābhir vidáthe suśastí viśvā́naraḥ savitā́ devá etu ápi yáthā yuvāno mátsathā no víśvaṁ jágad abhipitvé manīṣā́
O Savitr, the divine one who supports everyone, come to us with your praise and offerings! May you, who are eternally youthful, bring joy to our entire community and inspire our thoughts and actions.

इ॒यं सा वो॑ अ॒स्मे दीधि॑तिर्यजत्रा अपि॒प्राणी॑ च॒ सद॑नी च भूयाः | नि या दे॒वेषु॒ यत॑ते वसू॒युर्वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम् ||
iyáṁ sā́ vo asmé dī́dhitir yajatrā apiprā́ṇī ca sádanī ca bhūyāḥ ní yā́ devéṣu yátate vasūyúr vidyā́meṣáṁ vr̥jánaṁ jīrádānum
This thought of mine is for you, O venerable ones! May it be with us, inspiring and dwelling here. May this thought, which strives for the gods and seeks abundance, help us find ample sustenance and strength.
The poet dedicates this thought ('didhiti') to the divine beings, wishing it to be present and active among them and the community. This thought is described as striving for the gods and seeking riches. The ultimate hope is to gain abundant sustenance and strength, implying that divine favour brings prosperity and well-being.
