Stanza 1.181.1

कदु॒ प्रेष्टा॑वि॒षां र॑यी॒णाम॑ध्व॒र्यन्ता॒ यदु॑न्निनी॒थो अ॒पाम् | अ॒यं वां॑ य॒ज्ञो अ॑कृत॒ प्रश॑स्तिं॒ वसु॑धिती॒ अवि॑तारा जनानाम् ||

kád u préṣṭāv iṣā́ṁ rayīṇā́m adhvaryántā yád unninīthó apā́m ayáṁ vāṁ yajñó akr̥ta práśastiṁ vásudhitī ávitārā janānām

Oh, most beloved pair, what is this power and wealth you bring forth from the waters, acting as our divine priests? This offering we make to you is your praise, you who are the protectors and providers of treasures for all people.

Stanza 1.181.2

आ वा॒मश्वा॑सः॒ शुच॑यः पय॒स्पा वात॑रंहसो दि॒व्यासो॒ अत्याः॑ | म॒नो॒जुवो॒ वृष॑णो वी॒तपृ॑ष्ठा॒ एह स्व॒राजो॑ अ॒श्विना॑ वहन्तु ||

ā́ vām áśvāsaḥ śúcayaḥ payaspā́ vā́taraṁhaso divyā́so átyāḥ manojúvo vŕ̥ṣaṇo vītápr̥ṣṭhā éhá svarā́jo aśvínā vahantu

May your pure, radiant horses, swift as the wind and divine, come here quickly! May your powerful horses, fast as thought and well-equipped, bring you to us.

Stanza 1.181.3

आ वां॒ रथो॒ऽवनि॒र्न प्र॒वत्वा॑न्त्सृ॒प्रव॑न्धुरः सुवि॒ताय॑ गम्याः | वृष्णः॑ स्थातारा॒ मन॑सो॒ जवी॑यानहम्पू॒र्वो य॑ज॒तो धि॑ष्ण्या॒ यः ||

ā́ vāṁ rátho 'vánir ná pravátvān sr̥právandhuraḥ suvitā́ya gamyāḥ vŕ̥ṣṇa sthātārā mánaso jávīyān ahampūrvó yajató dhiṣṇyā yáḥ

May your chariot, moving swiftly like a downward stream, with its broad seat, arrive for our well-being! You strong, divine beings, faster than thought, who are ever ready, we call upon you.

Stanza 1.181.4

इ॒हेह॑ जा॒ता सम॑वावशीतामरे॒पसा॑ त॒न्वा॒३॒॑ नाम॑भिः॒ स्वैः | जि॒ष्णुर्वा॑म॒न्यः सुम॑खस्य सू॒रिर्दि॒वो अ॒न्यः सु॒भगः॑ पु॒त्र ऊ॑हे ||

ihéha jātā́ sám avāvaśītām arepásā tanvāā̀ nā́mabhiḥ svaíḥ jiṣṇúr vām anyáḥ súmakhasya sūrír divó anyáḥ subhágaḥ putrá ūhe

Born here, you two have joyfully come together, with pure bodies and your own distinct identities. One of you is the victorious leader of the sacrifice, the other is the beloved, auspicious son of the sky. You have arrived!

Stanza 1.181.5

प्र वां॑ निचे॒रुः क॑कु॒हो वशाँ॒ अनु॑ पि॒शङ्ग॑रूपः॒ सद॑नानि गम्याः | हरी॑ अ॒न्यस्य॑ पी॒पय॑न्त॒ वाजै॑र्म॒थ्रा रजां॑स्यश्विना॒ वि घोषैः॑ ||

prá vāṁ nicerúḥ kakuhó váśām̐ ánu piśáṅgarūpaḥ sádanāni gamyāḥ hárī anyásya pīpáyanta vā́jair mathrā́ rájāṁsy aśvinā ví ghóṣaiḥ

May your chariot, moving as you wish, with its colorful form, arrive at our homes! May your horses be nourished with abundance, and may you, O Ashwinikumar, with your chariots, stir the regions with your mighty sounds.

Stanza 1.181.6

प्र वां॑ श॒रद्वा॑न्वृष॒भो न नि॒ष्षाट् पू॒र्वीरिष॑श्चरति॒ मध्व॑ इ॒ष्णन् | एवै॑र॒न्यस्य॑ पी॒पय॑न्त॒ वाजै॒र्वेष॑न्तीरू॒र्ध्वा न॒द्यो॑ न॒ आगुः॑ ||

prá vāṁ śarádvān vr̥ṣabhó ná niṣṣā́ṭ pūrvī́r íṣaś carati mádhva iṣṇán évair anyásya pīpáyanta vā́jair véṣantīr ūrdhvā́ nadyò na ā́guḥ

You arrive like a strong bull in autumn, bringing abundant sweet food. May you nourish us with the abundance that others possess. Like rivers flowing upwards, may you come to serve us.

Stanza 1.181.7

अस॑र्जि वां॒ स्थवि॑रा वेधसा॒ गीर्बा॒ळ्हे अ॑श्विना त्रे॒धा क्षर॑न्ती | उप॑स्तुताववतं॒ नाध॑मानं॒ याम॒न्नया॑मञ्छृणुतं॒ हवं॑ मे ||

ásarji vāṁ sthávirā vedhasā gī́r bāḷhé aśvinā tredhā́ kṣárantī úpastutāv avataṁ nā́dhamānaṁ yā́mann áyāmañ chr̥ṇutaṁ hávam me

Your mighty praise has been released, O architects of the universe! O Ashwinikumar, flowing in three ways, hear my call! Protect me, the one who calls to you, whether I am moving or still.

Stanza 1.181.8

उ॒त स्या वां॒ रुश॑तो॒ वप्स॑सो॒ गीस्त्रि॑ब॒र्हिषि॒ सद॑सि पिन्वते॒ नॄन् | वृषा॑ वां मे॒घो वृ॑षणा पीपाय॒ गोर्न सेके॒ मनु॑षो दश॒स्यन् ||

utá syā́ vāṁ rúśato vápsaso gī́s tribarhíṣi sádasi pinvate nr̥ŕ̥n vŕ̥ṣā vām meghó vr̥ṣaṇā pīpāya gór ná séke mánuṣo daśasyán

This vibrant song of yours thrives in our assembly, O Ashwinikumar! Your strong, rain-giving power flourishes like milk, nourishing men and fulfilling their desires.

Stanza 1.181.9

यु॒वां पू॒षेवा॑श्विना॒ पुरं॑धिर॒ग्निमु॒षां न ज॑रते ह॒विष्मा॑न् | हु॒वे यद्वां॑ वरिव॒स्या गृ॑णा॒नो वि॒द्यामे॒षं वृ॒जनं॑ जी॒रदा॑नुम् ||

yuvā́m pūṣévāśvinā púraṁdhir agním uṣā́ṁ ná jarate havíṣmān huvé yád vāṁ varivasyā́ gr̥ṇānó vidyā́meṣáṁ vr̥jánaṁ jīrádānum

O Ashwinikumar, like Pushan, the wise worshipper praises you with hymns, just as he praises Agni and Ushas. I call upon you with your chariot and songs, wishing to find abundant strength and nourishment.
