Hey Indra, our sovereign king, please don't let us down in what you're bringing to our home, like those two sisters. Even the fast-flowing waters have rushed towards you. May Indra come to us, bringing connection and life!
The singer implores Indra not to fail them, especially concerning the arrival of two divine "sisters" (possibly dawn and dusk, or two aspects of Indra's power) in their home. They note that even swift waters have rushed towards him, indicating his importance. The verse concludes with a wish for Indra's presence, bringing friendship and vitality.
