म॒हश्चि॒त्त्वमि॑न्द्र य॒त ए॒तान्म॒हश्चि॑दसि॒ त्यज॑सो वरू॒ता | स नो॑ वेधो म॒रुतां॑ चिकि॒त्वान्त्सु॒म्ना व॑नुष्व॒ तव॒ हि प्रेष्ठा॑ ||
maháś cit tvám indra yatá etā́n maháś cid asi tyájaso varūtā́ sá no vedho marútāṁ cikitvā́n sumnā́ vanuṣva táva hí préṣṭhā
Oh Indra, you protect us from great dangers and trickery. You are our strong shield. Please, grant us the blessings of the Maruts, who are so dear to you. We truly desire them!
