Stanza 1.160.1

ते हि द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी वि॒श्वश॑म्भुव ऋ॒ताव॑री॒ रज॑सो धार॒यत्क॑वी | सु॒जन्म॑नी धि॒षणे॑ अ॒न्तरी॑यते दे॒वो दे॒वी धर्म॑णा॒ सूर्यः॒ शुचिः॑ ||

té hí dyā́vāpr̥thivī́ viśváśambhuva r̥tā́varī rájaso dhārayátkavī sujánmanī dhiṣáṇe antár īyate devó devī́ dhármaṇā sū́ryaḥ śúciḥ

These, Heaven and Earth, bring blessings to everyone! They are the wise, truth-abiding supporters of the sky. These two divine beings, like bowls of great origin, are where the shining Sun God travels, following His ordained path.

Stanza 1.160.2

उ॒रु॒व्यच॑सा म॒हिनी॑ अस॒श्चता॑ पि॒ता मा॒ता च॒ भुव॑नानि रक्षतः | सु॒धृष्ट॑मे वपु॒ष्ये॒३॒॑ न रोद॑सी पि॒ता यत्सी॑म॒भि रू॒पैरवा॑सयत् ||

uruvyácasā mahínī asaścátā pitā́ mātā́ ca bhúvanāni rakṣataḥ sudhŕ̥ṣṭame vapuṣyè ná ródasī pitā́ yát sīm abhí rūpaír ávāsayat

These vast and mighty ones, who never fail, the Father and the Mother protect all the worlds. The sky and earth, so strong and beautiful, are clothed in wonderful forms by the Father.

Stanza 1.160.3

स वह्निः॑ पु॒त्रः पि॒त्रोः प॒वित्र॑वान्पु॒नाति॒ धीरो॒ भुव॑नानि मा॒यया॑ | धे॒नुं च॒ पृश्निं॑ वृष॒भं सु॒रेत॑सं वि॒श्वाहा॑ शु॒क्रं पयो॑ अस्य दुक्षत ||

sá váhniḥ putráḥ pitróḥ pavítravān punā́ti dhī́ro bhúvanāni māyáyā dhenúṁ ca pŕ̥śniṁ vr̥ṣabháṁ surétasaṁ viśvā́hā śukrám páyo asya dukṣata

He, like a powerful priest, the son of the parents, full of purity, the wise one, cleanses the worlds with his magic. And for his bright essence, he milks the colorful cow and the potent bull every day.

Stanza 1.160.4

अ॒यं दे॒वाना॑म॒पसा॑म॒पस्त॑मो॒ यो ज॒जान॒ रोद॑सी वि॒श्वश॑म्भुवा | वि यो म॒मे रज॑सी सुक्रतू॒यया॒जरे॑भिः॒ स्कम्भ॑नेभिः॒ समा॑नृचे ||

ayáṁ devā́nām apásām apástamo yó jajā́na ródasī viśváśambhuvā ví yó mamé rájasī sukratūyáyājárebhi skámbhanebhiḥ sám ānr̥ce

This one is the most skillful among the gods' skills. He is the one who created the worlds, bringing prosperity to all. With great wisdom, He measured out the two realms and fixed them with eternal supports.

Stanza 1.160.5

ते नो॑ गृणा॒ने म॑हिनी॒ महि॒ श्रवः॑ क्ष॒त्रं द्या॑वापृथिवी धासथो बृ॒हत् | येना॒भि कृ॒ष्टीस्त॒तना॑म वि॒श्वहा॑ प॒नाय्य॒मोजो॑ अ॒स्मे समि॑न्वतम् ||

té no gr̥ṇāné mahinī máhi śrávaḥ kṣatráṁ dyāvāpr̥thivī dhāsatho br̥hát yénābhí kr̥ṣṭī́s tatánāma viśváhā panā́yyam ójo asmé sám invatam

O Heaven and Earth, as we sing your praises, grant us, divine parents, mighty glory and great dominion! By which we may spread ourselves over all people forever. Bestow upon us strength that is praiseworthy.
