Stanza 1.14.1

ऐभि॑रग्ने॒ दुवो॒ गिरो॒ विश्वे॑भिः॒ सोम॑पीतये | दे॒वेभि॑र्याहि॒ यक्षि॑ च ||

aíbhir agne dúvo gíro víśvebhiḥ sómapītaye devébhir yāhi yákṣi ca

Hey Agni, come with all these gods for the Soma drink! Join us in our worship and offerings.

Stanza 1.14.2

आ त्वा॒ कण्वा॑ अहूषत गृ॒णन्ति॑ विप्र ते॒ धियः॑ | दे॒वेभि॑रग्न॒ आ ग॑हि ||

ā́ tvā káṇvā ahūṣata gr̥ṇánti vipra te dhíyaḥ devébhir agna ā́ gahi

O radiant Agni, the Kanvas have called you! They sing praises to you; come with the gods!

Stanza 1.14.3

इ॒न्द्र॒वा॒यू बृह॒स्पतिं॑ मि॒त्राग्निं पू॒षणं॒ भग॑म् | आ॒दि॒त्यान्मारु॑तं ग॒णम् ||

indravāyū́ bŕ̥haspátim mitrā́gním pūṣáṇam bhágam ādityā́n mā́rutaṁ gaṇám

We invoke Indra and Vayu, Brihaspati, Mitra and Agni, Pushan, Bhaga, the Adityas, and the Marut host.

Stanza 1.14.4

प्र वो॑ भ्रियन्त॒ इन्द॑वो मत्स॒रा मा॑दयि॒ष्णवः॑ | द्र॒प्सा मध्व॑श्चमू॒षदः॑ ||

prá vo bhriyanta índavo matsarā́ mādayiṣṇávaḥ drapsā́ mádhvaś camūṣádaḥ

For you, these exhilarating Soma juices are poured out – drops of honey settled in the cups.

Stanza 1.14.5

ईळ॑ते॒ त्वाम॑व॒स्यवः॒ कण्वा॑सो वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषः | ह॒विष्म॑न्तो अरं॒कृतः॑ ||

ī́ḷate tvā́m avasyávaḥ káṇvāso vr̥ktábarhiṣaḥ havíṣmanto araṁkŕ̥taḥ

Eager for help, the Kanvas, with prepared grass and offerings, adore you, O Agni.

Stanza 1.14.6

घृ॒तपृ॑ष्ठा मनो॒युजो॒ ये त्वा॒ वह॑न्ति॒ वह्न॑यः | आ दे॒वान्त्सोम॑पीतये ||

ghr̥tápr̥ṣṭhā manoyújo yé tvā váhanti váhnayaḥ ā́ devā́n sómapītaye

The ghee-backed, thought-yoked horses, O Agni, who carry you, bring the gods to the Soma drink.

Stanza 1.14.7

तान्यज॑त्राँ ऋता॒वृधोऽग्ने॒ पत्नी॑वतस्कृधि | मध्वः॑ सुजिह्व पायय ||

tā́n yájatrām̐ r̥tāvŕ̥dhó 'gne pátnīvatas kr̥dhi mádhvaḥ sujihva pāyaya

O Agni with the good tongue, make these worthy gods, who uphold order, drink the sweet mead with their consorts.

Stanza 1.14.8

ये यज॑त्रा॒ य ईड्या॒स्ते ते॑ पिबन्तु जि॒ह्वया॑ | मधो॑रग्ने॒ वष॑ट्कृति ||

yé yájatrā yá ī́ḍyās té te pibantu jihváyā mádhor agne váṣaṭkr̥ti

Let those who are worthy of worship and praise drink the Soma with your tongue, O Agni, through the sacred ritual.

Stanza 1.14.9

आकीं॒ सूर्य॑स्य रोच॒नाद्विश्वा॑न्दे॒वाँ उ॑ष॒र्बुधः॑ | विप्रो॒ होते॒ह व॑क्षति ||

ā́kīṁ sū́ryasya rocanā́d víśvān devā́m̐ uṣarbúdhaḥ vípro hótehá vakṣati

The wise priest, awake with the dawn, will bring all the gods from the sun's radiance here.

Stanza 1.14.10

विश्वे॑भिः सो॒म्यं मध्वग्न॒ इन्द्रे॑ण वा॒युना॑ | पिबा॑ मि॒त्रस्य॒ धाम॑भिः ||

víśvebhiḥ somyám mádhv ágna índreṇa vāyúnā píbā mitrásya dhā́mabhiḥ

Agni, with all the gods, with Indra and Vayu, drink this Soma juice with the glories of Mitra!

Stanza 1.14.11

त्वं होता॒ मनु॑र्हि॒तोऽग्ने॑ य॒ज्ञेषु॑ सीदसि | सेमं नो॑ अध्व॒रं य॑ज ||

tváṁ hótā mánurhitó 'gne yajñéṣu sīdasi sémáṁ no adhvaráṁ yaja

You are the priest established by Manu, O Agni; you sit in the sacrifices. Consecrate this sacrifice of ours!

Stanza 1.14.12

यु॒क्ष्वा ह्यरु॑षी॒ रथे॑ ह॒रितो॑ देव रो॒हितः॑ | ताभि॑र्दे॒वाँ इ॒हा व॑ह ||

yukṣvā́ hy áruṣī ráthe haríto deva rohítaḥ tā́bhir devā́m̐ ihā́ vaha

O divine Agni, harness your red and tawny horses to the chariot! Bring the gods here with them.
