May the delightful Soma drops delight you, O Vayu! May these drops, made by us, well-prepared and heaven-directed, please you. Those who have offered them with milk, and directed them to the heavens, may their efforts bring strength. They call upon the assembled steeds to grant gifts, yes, they call for the gifts!
This stanza continues the invocation to Vayu, focusing on the Soma offerings. The speaker asks Vayu to be delighted by the Soma drops, which are described as pure, well-made, and divine. The stanza emphasizes that these offerings are made by 'us' and are intended to bring strength and fulfillment. It implies that Vayu's arrival and enjoyment of the Soma will bring beneficial results.

Vayu harnesses the ruddy horses, Vayu harnesses the red horses, Vayu harnesses the swift horses to the chariot, ready to pull the load, the strongest to pull the load! Awaken understanding, like a lover waking a sleeping beloved! Make the heavens and earth shine, make the dawns appear for glory, make the dawns appear!
This stanza describes Vayu preparing for his journey. He harnesses his chariot with swift horses of various colors (red and ruddy). The stanza then shifts to a more poetic comparison, urging 'intelligence' (Purandhi) to awaken, like a lover waking a sleeping beloved. Finally, it asks Vayu to illuminate the sky and earth, and make the dawn visible for fame and glory.

A 'cow' (symbolizing abundance) pours out treasures for Vayu. Vayu is also credited with bringing forth the Maruts, powerful storm deities, from the heavens.

You, O Vayu, are unique and the first among all, worthy to drink these Soma offerings! You are worthy to drink these poured-out Soma drinks. Among the people, too, who are devoted and have turned to you, all cows pour out milk and clarified butter for you!
This final stanza declares Vayu's supreme right to the Soma offerings. He is described as unique and the first to deserve these drinks, which have been prepared and poured out. The stanza also mentions that all people, who have purified themselves and turned to Vayu, benefit from all the cows' milk and ghee (clarified butter), which are likened to the Soma itself.
