Hey Indra, we've prepared a special place for you to sit! Come on down and take a seat, like a powerful horse ready to rest. We're unhitching your horses now, letting them loose so you can get here quickly, whether it's evening or morning.

These folks are calling out to Indra for aid! Won't he come swiftly to them on their journey? May the gods indeed pacify the rage of the Dasa, and may they lead us to a good life.
These men are calling out to Indra for help. The verse asks if Indra will come quickly to them along their path. Come near us! They say you love Soma. Here is the pressed juice; drink it for joy! You are vast; fill yourself with it. Hear us when we call, like a father hears his children.
This is an invitation to Indra, calling him to come closer. The people have declared him to be fond of Soma (a ritual drink). They present him with the pressed Soma juice and ask him to drink it for joy and exhilaration. Indra is described as vast and capable of holding much, and they ask him to pour the Soma down into himself. Finally, they invoke him to hear them, like a father would hear his children.
